There is something extraordinary about Aashish's acting.

I have seen all of his shows at a peek-a-boo basis - I mean, i would always check out his scenes because they demanded - "look- at- me". But its only in RR, that i have concluded what that 'look-at-me' thingy was. Aashish is a good actor but fine, big deal, so are many other actors that I could count on my fingers. But what Aashish has consciously or unconsciously mastered is what very few actors, mind you, even the best of actors take time to get some skill at. And that is 'transition of expression'. Most of the actors are slow, awkward and too artificial at that , or make it look too hard or at best stick to method acting - and it seems obvious that they are taking time to move to the next mood...But with Aashish , I have observed that this transition of expression is smooth, quick and flawless - and that is what makes it look so real. He can transcend a plethora of emotions very smoothly , thus forming a connect that looks like something that could happen next door. Like today, the way his face changes contours from fury to guilt shock when Paro screams 'Kahaan Jaati' , or the excellent transitions he showed when he barged into the haveli.

Yes, everyone talks about Aashish's eyes and his skillful use of them. But his real craft is in his grip of human emotions and how convincingly he traverses them in a single scene. That's WOW. It takes years of practice , skilled schooling and theater grooming to get that kind of facial transition of mood and emotions. That way, Aashish is extraordinary.

Anyway, just one comment on today's episode. Like seriously, Paro? You have too many ummeedein of 'ek din' from Rudra and life is too short. You actually have pinned so many hopes on him? And here we thought you came back to him for all the listed reasons of Beerpur ki suraksha. Dil dhadkegaa? Patthar pighlegaa? Insaan jaagega? Rudra maafi maangega aur tum maaf nahiin karogee?... Like, tumne ittna sochaa Rudra ke baare meinn? Laal lehenge waali, you shouldn't have come back. Abb tu bahu banaa di jaayegi and Rudra is not going to be exactly happy about this new marital arrangement. ...Anyway, Rotiyaan pakaao aur Rudra ke baare mein aur uske liye banaayi gayee 'to-do-list' ke baare meinn kum socho.

Thanks. Its strange that even though i was not a viewer of his shows, i would still see his scenes whenever i came across him while flipping channels. Aashish seems to live what he plays - maybe that is how he gets all emotions , mannerisms and their display to near perfection. 😆

Thanks. I always knew that he is a huge talent but Rudra is his most challenging role - there are so many critical tests and he gets everything right. I like seeing his face go through so many shades. Its almost flawless. 😃
