A new entry is lined up in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra and it will be played byactor Ashish Kapoor

Kapoor will play Gautam Rode aka Saraswatichandra's real brother. He will take revenge against Monica Bedi, who plays Gumaan Vyas --- the antagonist --- in the show. The actor has featured in shows like Dekha Ek Khwab,Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage andSavitri.

Says the source, "He will play Jaywardhan and will take revenge against Gumaan, who had wronged them in the past. He will start shooting soon."

When contacted, Ashish said, "It's not confirmed yet. I will get back to you once I get a confirmation."

ashish kapoor is a young guy like varoun kapoor and is best for kumari..i have watched him in DEK and he is damn handsome though acting is average, still he can give competition to our rode when it comes to chiseled body...if he is here then ...i will have two two handsome guys to drool on

seems like guman will make a comeback to revenge on saras and kumud but this new boy will save saras somehow

obviously he will play younger brother coz actor looks young ...plus expert in playing younger brother .lol...i am dying to see how kumari gets connected to him

All I can say is that I am happy that after months of negativity & tears they are trying to inject heavy doses of positivity. I was afraid the tattooed guy would be another villain but glad I was wrong😃

There could be an other track too... Thinking far ahead. Which I hope they end up inserting. Brothers rivalry. When Saras finds out about his real brother ... Danny getting jealous of their growing relationship... Three brothers vs three sisters. I so want that track. :P
