Been a silent reader in this forum but i just want to say that i LOVE baldev/ veera & veera/ ranvi but for some reason i HATE gunjan i find her so irritating and many of you might not agree with me but thats your opinion.

Gunjan is selfish, annoying and childish! HATE HER! Its either the actress can't act or her character is suppose to be annoying.

Ps. At times i do find her quite cute and innocent but her dialogues annoy me and no i have not watched the show pre-leap :$ maybe thats why i dont undrrstand her thus thats where my dislike for her comes from.

Seen the show pre-leap?

If your own mother treats you like that, I can not blame you for anything you become.

Even Baldev didn't treat her well :/

She's hiding behind a mask.. I totally love the complexity of the character!

may be its ur opinion tat gunjan is annoying but
the actor is doing her job well ,she is fab in emotional and comedy scenes and gunjan is an innocent and childish character and not a mature char like ranvi/baldev or even veera.veera has tat childish nature but she is not innocent

No i have only started to watch the show after they grow up but could you tell me what her mother did to her? What did baldev do? What did her dad do?

Since i havent watched it from the beginning, my lack of understanding of gunjans character grows my dislike for her. 😕

well given that u havent watched the show pre-leap , felt this was a overly harsh post towards GUnjan/Franaz, but i guess explains ur attitude to Gunjan. . .

there aer tonnes of posts on the forum explaining and justifying Gunjan's behhaviour,

well as a summary: Blwant was neevr really around to protect Gunjan from Bansuri + Baldev madness,. . .Due to Baldev insisting Bansuri brainwashed GUnjan into not going to Delhi like Veera, and staying in pind to be just like her mum, and that Bansuri wud love her for that, Gunjan got carried away. . Balwant never saw thru Bansuri that time, and despite trying to ask Gunjan many times why she changed her decision not to go to Delhi, Gunjan , so brainwashed, cud not really tell him it was upon Bansuri's plots, , As a little girl, growing up to see herself unloved by the mother, and a father who is just left rambling on, she had not exit out of this emotional stress, and this has gone on over all this time pre to post leap. . so all she wants is to get out of Bansuri's shadow. . and she believes marryin NRI wil take her far far away that she will escape all this. . . Its hard for a girl with not a strong educational background esp in pind, to bounce back independently from such a emotional wreck. . well i write too much, maybe did not even make any sense, but thats just the gist of things, just look around forum searching gunjan related possts, esp those from namrata di, she explains GUnjan very well 😊

and what? Farnaz is doing a fantastic job in the role, havent got a single issue with her potrayal of this character, very interesting development goin on here.

You should watch it! The kids we AWESOME!

So to sum it up, Gunjan's mom i.e. Bansuri believes boys are superior to girls and would shower love on Baldev and ignore Gunjan completely. Did you see the birthday scene of Gunjan recently? Something like that.

Baldev was a total brat in childhood and would behave very rudely towards Gunjan.

Her dad on the other hand loved her but never had the spine to speak on her behalf in front Bansuri.

So basically, Gunjan didn't get any love from her family during her childhood and to earn her mom's love she has become like this. And she wants to run away from her mom and go to Canda.

GunDev have become way stronger now!

Chotu Gunjan was sooo cute!

am sorry but bashing actors and characters is against forum rules..

and frankly her character development is not wrong.. a girl who has gone through all her life being ignored by the ones who love her.. and always biased turnes out be heart broken and upset with her own existance.. and lonely and ignored

she years for love and respect.. and that ranvi will give her soon as she realises his love for her.. so their bit is very intersting.. and farnaz is a very expressive actress and she is doing full justice to her role..
