Geet (Geetali) Handa has a daughter named Miri, (5 years old) lives with her father Mohinder Handa and brother, Brij Handa. She has done her Bachelors in Physio Therapy(BPT)

Pari (Parinda) Godbole,is her childhood friend, who loves Brij and wants to marry him. However, Brij even though he loves her, hasn't asked her to marry him yet.

Dev Khurana (aged 9) lives in Khurana Residency with his dadi, Savitri Devi and elder brother Maan Khurana.

Dev and Maan's parents are deceased.

Dev and Miri attend the same school in Delhi. Modern Academy of Delhi (MAD)

Dev, Dadi, Miri and Geet, meet at the school for the first time and a wonderful bond is formed between them, from the first meeting. After the first meeting all four go and hang out at a dhaba.

Maan Singh Khurana is overprotective of his family and when Dev and dadi disappear for a few hours he panics. Eventually when they return home, he understands that they were out with a girl named Geet and her daughter. He gets mad at this irresponsible behavior and also has doubts, as to why his Dadi and brother were befriended by this Geet .

Brij works for Maan's company as a achief architect. On a rare occasion he shares lunch with his boss and tells Maan that it is made by his sister, who is an Annapurna. Maan assumes Annapurna is Brij's sister's name.

Brij and Pari persuade Geet to go to a charity ball organized by Maan. Maan and Geet see each other for the first time and are extremely attracted to one other. However, Maan overhears a conversation between Brij and Geet and assumes the worst of Geet. When they meet alone at the party, many hurtful words are exchanged, between the two.

Meanwhile, without knowing Maan's relationship to Dev and Dadi, Geet and her family grow extremely close to them. Geet finally reveals her past to Dadi. Her own father was a drunkard and abusive man. Her mother had divorced him and married Mohinder, when she was already pregnant with Geet. She ran away with Mohinder and in that, she was helped by her friend Anita. Years later, Anita and her family, which consist of her son Rajesh and granddaughter Miri, are on a vacation with Geet and her mother. Geet's mother decides to go her old place and sort out her property issues. They all go to Sawantwadi, where Geet's real father murders Anita and Rajesh and shoots Geet through her thigh, shattering her thigh bone. It is in this moment that Geet comes to know that Mohinder isn't her biological father. Geet's mother jumps of a cliff and drags her ex-husband with her, to protect Geet and Miri. Geet accepts Miri as her daughter and starts recovering with the help of her family, Pari and neighbors. Geet's left leg is reconstructed using a titanium rod and screws. She spends a year and a half in a wheel chair, during recovery and her leg still bothers her.

Dadi and Dev, who adore Geet, want her to be Dev's physio therapist(PT) and come to their house. Following an initial refusal, Geet finally agrees, after literally being tricked into it.

Dadi comes to know about the clash between Geet and Maan and that he has confused her name as Annapurna, believing that they are two different women. Dadi literally forces him to employ Geet as Dev's physio therapist. After an initial refusal, Maan finally agrees. When Maan and Geet suddenly come face to face in Khurana Residency, Maan comes to know that Annapurna and Geet is the same woman. He gets mad thinking she is a gold digger and ends up yelling at her. Yet when Dev clearly states that if Geet is not his PT, he's not going to let anybody else fill that position, Mann reluctantly agrees to let her remain on in the Khurana household.

Pari who drags the whole story out of Geet gets very angry at Maan and mocks him and insults him for hurting Geet and also enlists little Miri's help to add insult to injury. Miri innocently believes that Maan is a tiger and to prove that, she is trying to find his tail. Hilarity ensues when Pari tricks her into believing that the tail is hidden and Maan is refusing to let her look at his behind to prove her theory.

An undercover operation to nab a notorious group of eve-teasers is headed by a sub inspector and her constables. She is dressed vulgarly, to deliberately draw attention to herself and lure the culprits. After a dramatic encounter on a train, the culprits are nabbed and taken to the police station where coincidentally Maan sees Parinda Gobole friend of Geet dresses in vulgar clothes. He once again starts insulting Pari, who loses her cool and starts cursing a blue streak. Right then, Pari's boss comes there and introduces Sub Inspector Parinda Godbole, to Maan who is there to teach self-defense to Pari's undercover team. Over the evening they gradually develop a reluctant respect for each other. At one point Pari fiercely defends her friend and creates a small seed of self-doubt in Maan's mind, about his judgement of Geet. He goes home and informs her rudely that her friend has been injured, just to see how she would react. Geet falls apart in front of his eyes on hearing the news. She injures her foot on a broken glass. She eventually calms down after finding that Pari is ok, when Dev calls Pari in a disguised voice. Pari starts yelling thinking it's a prank call. when Maan races to grab the phone, trips and falls over Geet.

I am just loving your updates and your incidents even more . Your neighbors reminds me of my mother's when she and my sister lived in another house ( I wasn't born then 🤢 ). My sister was the only kid and the whole street used to feed her , love her and kept her busy . Sometimes It really gets on your nerves when my mom shares my sister's childhood . I'm so J of her

I am loving Brij-Pari more than Maan-Geet in this FF . Gosh what a woman Pari is ! I hope i will get to be like her in future . I always look up at the Police with a sense of admiration (Credits : Indian Cinema especially Masala Films with a Police hero ) . Pari has increased my respect for them many folds . I just hope you will add more Brij-Pari scenes . they are too cute and adorable . I can picturise Brij shying away and Pari teasing him .😆😆

I too use few abusive words like Pari but i am trying hard to control that , its not really supporting my image and it becomes really embarrassing when you use them while talking to your dad and he glares at you . I remember last year we went to an amusement park (i just love them !) and we were seated in a ride ( That swing thing ) and the guy opposite were smiling sheepishly at my sisters , passing some comments on them , looking in a manner that will want you to punch them . And i stuck out my finger at him grinning ear to ear that he kept looking down till the end 😆😆😆

And The cute guy named Dev ! If i ever get to meet such a person , i would instantly befriend him. That teaspoon explanation he gave for tears 😆 Where do you find such dialogues ????

I am now gonna borrow the symbols thing to interest . i even went to my mom and asked her if she needed Carbon monoxide with 2 atoms of iron when she came back from work 😆😆😆
