Prachee to wed Vishwaas today

TV actress Prachee Shah will marry boyfriend Vishwaas Paandya (he has featured in many serials, films and ads, like Bajaj Chetak, Dalda Active, Good Knight, Dabar Chyavanprash, Maaza, Nescafe) today.

The wedding will be followed by a reception at a suburban hotel, expected to be attended by many TV and film personalities.

The couple has known each other for three-and-a-half years, but started dating only eighteen months ago. While Prachee is a qualified architect, Vishwaas holds a finance degree from Florida University.

Pyar hi pyar

Prachee and Vishwaas first met on the sets of an Anurag Basu-directed TV serial, when Vishwaas dropped in to meet Basu. The two actors got talking, and Prachee told him she liked his character, Vishwaas, in Sparsh.

Down the line, Vishwaas asked Prachee to act in Rishtey, but before that masterialised, Rishtey was pulled off air. "But our rishta happened," laughs Prachee of the match, which faced no parental opposition; Prachee and Vishwas are both Gujaratis.

Suhaag raat gift

Prachee and Vishwaas leave for an eight-day honeymoon to Mauritius tomorrow. "When we return, we will stay in Vishwaas's new flat in Khar," says Prachee. "Vishwaas is a tremendously talented writer.

He writes poetry, and songs too. He has written a special song for me; he sang half of it to me, already," she tells hitList. What about the remaining half? "That he will sing to me on our wedding night," the bride-to-be winds up shyly.
