Sanjhana and company are obnoxious, despicable, and loathsome.
They acted like spoil little 🤬.ch.
Sugni's feeling was badly bruise, and only Vickram can pacify her.

Chapter 13 Patch up

Vikram stops the car and comes out, finds sugni sitting at riverside looking at him.

Vikram - what was all that?
Sugni wipes her tears and says what
Vikram - why did you come out of the party
Sugni - I was not feeling well
Vikram - not well?
Sugni - yes i wanted fresh air
Vikram - what happened in the party
Sugni turns away and says nothing
Vikram who had enough of her excuses pulls her towards him, his actions shock sugni and she founds herself in his arms, she tries to get away from him.

Sugni le- ave me ...Leave me
Vikram - I will not until you give me answers. Sugni looks up into his face and finds him very angry glaring at her. Their faces were very close, they could feel each others breath, their eyes locked though the light was dim vikram could see her features well and could easily make out she had been crying.There was so much pain in her expressions that it shook him,

Vikram - hey sugni what happened why are you crying
Sugni doesn't speak and vikram says so you believed sanjhana right?
Now it was her turn to be shocked , so he knew what had happened in the party. She wondered why he came here now maybe to coverup on the mess sanjhana had done or... She looked up and found him staring at her questioningly there was some amount of pain in his eyes a kind of disappointment.
Sugni - pls leave me and go away...

Vikram freed her from his grip but stood still. Sugni turned her back to him.
Vikram - just answer my one question sugni did you believe in the crap sanjhana told you.

Vikram waited and waited finally sugni said No
He didn't know when he felt so relieved in life
Vikram - then why did you come out of the party

Sugni - I was not feeling comfortable
Vikram - I know what happened with you was not right
Sugni - how did you know

Vikram comes and sits next to her on the riverside - After you left I came and searched for you but found you nowhere then when I asked my servant shyam he told me you left. I was very surprised, shyam didn't know whether to tell me or not but I guessed something was wrong and he finally blurted out everything. Apparently he was serving nearby and heard what all happened between you and sanjhana. The moment I came to know I started searching for you all over the village you have no idea how worried I was.

Vikram looks at her but couldn't read her expression.
Vikram - say something sugni.I know how bad you must have felt at sanjhana's words.
Sugni - no sir what sanjhana mam told was right
Vikram - what do you mean sugni.. surely you dont mean it
Sugni - her way of speaking may not be right but what she said was not false Vikram I dont understand Sugni sir why what sanjhana mam told was perfectly right I do not belong to your world I am not suitable to be your Secretary.
Vikram - so we are back to this same discussion
Sugni - this discussion will continue as long as I work for you sir today sanjhana raised this question tomorrow someone else and so on and so forth. They all will ask you why you offered job to a dumb village girl why you hired her as your Secretary.

Vikram had had enough of this discussion on same topic he was getting frustrated , he had lots of business tensions piling up and factory inauguration something he had always dreamed of was nearby but he couldn't savor the moment thanks to sanjhana and sugni. He gets up pulls sugni on her feet and holds her in a fiery grip. Sugni gets scared as she had never seen him so angry

Vikram - For the one last time Sugni I am repeting I offered you this job as I found you worthy and capable of it and not out of sympathy but this seems to be not registering in your mind. What sanjhana told you was a load of nonsense and she is no one to speak on behalf of me and spoil my name. I have come here to do some serious work and make my fathers dream come true, I won't stand anyone coming in the way, if you dont wish to work for me you need not come from tomorrow the choice is yours. I offered this job as you are from the same village where I was born, you could easily handle the work here as you know everyone otherwise its not difficult for me to hire someone from city.I saw the urge in you to achieve something in life to support your mom thats the reason I hired you but if at every step I have to justify myself then its better we dont work together.

Sugni is left stunned at his words.Vikram released her and said - you have tonight to think decide yourself if you want to work or spoil your career heeding to someone's nonsense. He turns and leaves without even glancing once in her direction. Sugni recovers after a moment and bursts into tears for having ruined everything.

She sat there for a long time thinking what all vikram told, she had not believed sanjhana trying to create misunderstandings between them but somewhere she thought she was a misfit but today after what vikram told her...literally yelled at her it was now dawning on her that sanjhana wanted her to leave this job whereas vikram had been so good to offer her a job an opportunity to grow and build a career and here she was ruining her chance by questioning his intentions motives again and again frustrating him to such an extent that today he asked her to leave the job.

Sugni got up wiped her tears and ran towards the haveli to apologize to vikram. She was nearing the haveli when she met shyam

Shyam - Sugni beti how are you I was worried for you
Sugni - kaka I am fine but what happened your work got over so soon.
Shyam - no beti the party stopped in the middle and all left.
Sugni was shocked to hear this she questioned kaka as to what exactly happened
Shyam - what to tell sugni after you left thakur malak came searching for you and I told him how those 2 ladies from city who were they... sanjhana Manyatha humiliated you and others stood watching and supporting them. Gosh I have never seen malak so furious. Sugni gets worried and asks then what did Malak do? Shyam he scolded Sanjhana nicely for illtreating you and spoiling his name, sanjhana completely changed her words and told you were speaking ill of malak

Sugni looks at him in shock when Shyam assures her that - Malak ofcourse didn't believe her. Vishaka mam tried to support her but Malak asked her not to interfere. He then asked the 2 of them to leave rampur immediately.
Sugni - kaka he did all this for me?
Shyam - not only you sugni but since the time those 2 women came they were giving hard time to other servants radha and kamala, just before the party started that sanjhana slapped radha for a small mistake I told this to Malak when I told him about you that made him send them out of rampur.

Sugni - ohh so much happened
Shyam - really sugni you should have been there. We must be proud to have such a malak and work for him, he told today that for him all are one be it poor or rich what he sees in a person is truth, honesty and love respect. You are lucky sugni to work with him you can learn a lot from him,never throw away this job no matter what anyone says, Malak is a man worth his weight in gold, today just for you and 2 maids he stood against his own friends not many would do that.

Sugni had tears in her eyes hearing all this and her respect for vikram just increased. She thought kaka was right I should not loose this job and mainly I should never doubt his intention as this itself will be treachery. She decided to waste no more time and reached the haveli but stood at the gate hesitantly. Vikram was taking out some files from his car parked nearby when he spotted her.He dropped the files back and came towards the gate

Vikram - so you already made the decision? Well I knew but never mind and thanks for working for me all these days.
Sugni looks in shock and says - but I dont want to leave
Vikram - excuse me?
Sugni - I am not resigning Vikram looks surprised - are you sure... next time someone else may say some other story what will you do then.

Vikram knew he was hurting her but he couldn't stop himself. Sugni turns away and walks towards his car and says - I am extremely sorry sir I know I did a grave mistake and I apologise but please dont doubt me nor ask me to leave, you came as a boon in my life and I ruined it myself but please give me one last chance.

She couldn't hold her tears any more and starts crying.within seconds vikram reaches her and slowly turns her towards him. Vikram - hey sugni shhh stop crying... I cant see you like this. He then slowly wipes her tears with this thumbs, she raises her face towards him and their eyes lock, vikram could see how bad she was feeling and he wanted to comfort her caress her , he brought his face close to her, their lips were just centimeters away and sugni closes her eyes, vikram wanted to taste her lips explore it with his own and he doubted sugni would object in her current state of mind her emotional turmoil but his mind got the better of his heart and he planted a kiss on her forehead, and sugni hugged him. She sobbed her heartful resting her head on his chest while vikram caresses her head. They stood like this for sometime and sugni finally realized where and with whom she was.she raised her head and met his eyes

Vikram - its ok dont worry
Sugni - I am sorry I guess I spoiled your shirt
Vikram bursts into laughter and says - after all that happened today you are now worried about my shirt... hahah
Sugni scowls at him while vikram says - lets put this behind us sugni and start afresh tomorrow Sugni smiles and agrees - but sir what about vishaka mam she must be upset she had worked so hard for the party
Vikram - dont worry sugni we just ended the party early and anyways it was getting late for my friends so they had early dinner and left for the city and as for vishaka she has an assignment tomorrow so she too left.
Sugni - she left.? What about puja tomorrow
Vikram - her work got preponed so she cant take part in puja but nothing can be done.
Sugni I will leave see you tomorrow then.
Vikram - no first lets have dinner then I will drop you home
Sugni - no sir I...
Vikram - no more excuses come help me get the files from the car then we will go and have food Sugni smiles and follows him.

AAArthi...this was one surprising Chapter...Vickram was aggressive...I think that is all the pent up tension coming out there!!! I think I felt the underlining passion between the two. !!! I am so happy he delt with them and sent them packing... Now I want to see what is going to happen during dinner. 👏👏👏 I loved it !!! getting better and better please keep going!!!

Oh wow, wow, wow!!👏 Loved it! Good thing their misunderstanding cleared up soon. Vikram as always has the utmost trust in Sugni and knows she did not ill speak him. I love how he dealt with her by the river. I am looking forward to the next chapter really soon.😃
