Considering a cult show Maryada with this nonsense is funny

btw Initially Maryada was also directed by Waseem Sabbir , who was also first director of PSH

the show start with good intention to change the thinking of people toword the girl. after some time writer forget the story line that what is the show is about. then thay start adding same masala. like all the other show. they forgot that show is to bring some respect toword the rai dance. so call thakur can not use them in the name of sirdhakai. what happning in the show now.Mama Bhanja toword one girl. how can mama spent 20laks in a short time that now they are working in the haveli. why so many lies. what will happen when the truth come out. i think this show can be better. if they focus on the problem of society. not only hero heroen and the villians. even nice movies dont have that type of story any more.

FIZK6 - Excellent summary of Maryada which was an excellent show. The original director of PSH was the director of this drama - he left after the first 60 episodes. Maryada was BOLD but not sleazy like PSH. Maryada would not support characters like Sugni who chase after their lover's nephew and endorse it with Sitamaya's approve. It would show her behavior as WRONG in a number of ways. It would also NOT support Sugni's behavior to Amrita. Maryada highlighted morals and values that are important but ignored because we let our fears and patriachal laws focus in the wrong area on FALSE morals and values.

PSH is promoting these false values through Nandesh, Gulabiya and Sugni.

Here's what we will see - Nandesh and Sugni fall in love and TVS will be the sleazy male who will try to rape Sugni - that's the show for you.

I know we are all angry with the way the story has developed and the way all of the characters have been butchered but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we stop saying the story is leading to a RAPE or ATTEMPTED RAPE.

Just as physical voilence is UNACCEPTABLE no matter what the provacation RAPE/ATTEMPTED RAPE is NEVER ACCPETABLE no matter what.

CVs and Zee mgt you have already given enough wrong messages in the last couple is months through this programme please DO NOT now show TVS attempting to rape Sugni because for many viewers it will be the final nail in this programmes coffin. This action is NOT BOLD it is DISPICABLE action in an attempt to make a UNHOLY IMMORAL relationship betweena bhanja and his Mama's love interest acceptable.
