AFTER 6 MONTHS-
8 months had passed since Meher's pregnancy was detected. Their babies could arrive any moment now. Yes! Meher is pregnant with twins. The doctor didn't determine the gender of the babies though, but the mere news of two kids had overwhelmed Abeer already.
I'm finalizing everything now, you choose fast!'Abeer hired a professional architect from Italy who would design the entire bedroom for their babies. He was showing Meher the colours and designs of the baby-rooms.
But Abeer, we can't simply waste the money like this! We don't even know whether there are two boys, or two girls, or one girl and one boy?' Meher says
Who's wasting money sweetheart? The designs they're showing are not inclined towards any particular gender, look...' Abeer showed her a crme toned room, with brownish toned furniture.
Excuse me, Mr Husband?'
Yes, wife?'
What are we doing here? Designing a home for Mom-Dad's retirement? These colours are so boring and dull that the babies will hate it!'Meher said confidently.
Really?' Abeer had no knowledge about what he was doing.
YES! I have seen many baby-rooms, they're painted in bright colours, they smell good, there's hardly any furniture because babies don't need it till they're 2 or 3. And the room you're showing here? See, it also has a rocking-chair! As if there's a grandpa shifting in...'Meher said.
Okay...okay, I got it. I'll talk to the architect and then decide.'Abeer said.
What? You didn't talk to architect? Whose designs are these then?'Meher asked
These are my own discovery online. I'm yet to talk to the architect.'Abeer said proudly
God! Abeer, please don't make a blunder this time...'Meher said irritately

After 14 days-
Abeer was strolling in tension in the hospital corridor.
Madhvi-beta don't worry everything will be good.
Abeer-mom..!! There are two babies,I hope Meher and babies will be healthy. (Meanwhile a nurse came)
"congratulatios sir!! You're now father of a baby boy."Nurse told Abeer. "A boy? What about my other baby?" Abeer freaked out.
(when Nurse was about to say something doctor came outside.) "Congratulations Mr. Abeer your second baby is also a boy"Doctor said.
"Again a boy?No girl?" Abeer was overjoyed but a little disappointed bcoz he wanted a daughter. (Abeer goes to meher's room where she was laying on the bed)
"baby look we are now parents of two boys.you wanted a son and see god fulfilled your wish twice.we made twins.wow.!!"Abeer chuckled. (meher was still not healthy enough to speak so she just smiled) After 2 days they returned home from hospital-
Abeer came to his room.Meher was laying on the bed and babies were in another room with madhvi as Meher needed to proper rest.
Abeer held Meher by her waist gently.pulled her towards her and hugged her tight.
Meher-"abeer tell me the names"
Abeer- "names of what?"
Meher-"Names of babies,for heaven's sake!"
Abeer-"ummm..didn't think...about boys names bcoz I thought we would have daughters or at least one daughter,you have anything in mind?"
Meher-"yeah..I knew I'll have a son for sure.so I thought about Akshan.
Abeer-"hmmm..intelligent wife..!! And we will name the second boy 'Aksh' what say ?"
Meher-"but Abeer its too similar to 'Akshan' something else may be. "
Abeer-"No..! I want them to sit together in the school in exams.If they will have similar names.they'll have adjacent roll no. and they can easily copy from each other.perfect.!"(smiled to see meher's weird expressions)
Meher-"God abeer you are a father not a child.."(meher told irritately)
"Hold on what about 'Abhaas'.?
Abeer-"yeah it's also good but there will be less chances for them to cheating"(Abeer laughed)
Meher-"End of the discussion Abeer,Abhaas is final.Akshan for the elder one and Abhaas for younger"
Abeer-"I don't know,choose whatever you want and then tell me,I can hardly distinguish who's elder,they both look same."
Meher-"Abeer! Don't talk like that,they're different okay?Akshan is the one wearing pink tee and Abhaas is wearing black tee."
Abeer-"what? You made my son wear Pink? Seriously? Where is Akshan,I am going to change his clothes."
(Abeer hurriedly got up from the bed and rushed out the room.his manliness couldn't see his son in pink."
AFTER 6 MONTHS-
The babies were learning to crawl and Abeer was forcing them to speak,'Dad' something that he was desperate to hear from the babies but they're adamant and none of them spoke anything at all,they just babbled.They always giggled and smiled when Meher was around. The babies were much more attracted towards their mom.and abeer felt immense jealously.
Abeer- I don't like it.(Abeer folded his arms as he was sipping coffee.
Meher-"Like what?"(Meher said in confusion and babies were playing around her.)
Abeer-"whenever I'm playing with the babies and you enter,they totally forget me!This kind of attitude isn't acceptable..." (abeer makes a baby face)
Meher-"Oh god,Abeer you're even younger than them in mind.especially when it comes to me."(Meher smiled and babies smiled back)
Abeer got up and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Abeer-"Sweetheart when it comes to you,I can't tolerate anyone grabbing your attention more than me,not even my own sperms,I mean babises."
he kissed her on her lips and the babies watched with atmost interest and attention.
Meher-"Abeer stop!"Meher pushed him,as she saw the babies,staring at then with weird expressions,As Abeer backed a few steps.one baby started crying.
Meher-"ohh come here Abhaas,baby what happened ?"(Meher picked him up.seeing this other baby also started crying.)
Abeer-"see..even they don't like that you pushed me away.hey you crying like a girls,be a man son.!!"
(Abeer picked the other baby up and Meher looked at him with weird expressions.)
(In the evening sasha calls Meher)
Sasha-hey meher! Congratulations babes! I'm sorry I couldn't visit you guys and my babies,how are they ?how is Abeer?Are you guyzz at home?I'll come soon to meet you."
Meher-" hy sasha relax breath breath.so many questions at once?I'm fine,the babies are fine and so is Abeer."
Sasha- Hmnmm..what is he doing?
Meher-"Nothing.teaching babies how to become a man..!!"
Sasha-"oh...already pushing all the manliness in their bodies."
(they both giggled over the phone)
Abeer-"who is this?"(Abeer interrupted)
Meher-"Its sasha do you wanna talk?"
Abeer-"of course"
(meher puts the phone on loudspeaker)
Abeer-"hey sashu.!! How are you babes?"
Sasha-"All good & just coming delhi tomorrow and see you tomorrow"
Abeer-" yeah sure...bye see you.."
(they disconnectes the call)
NEXT MORNING-
Meher was in bathroom. And Abeer was still sleeping.babies were playing around him. Akshan climbed on abeer's face so Abeer freaked out so he woke up with a jerk.
Both babies were frightened.abeer rubbed his eyes and was brought to his senses by meher
Abeer-"I am sorry babies.Dad didn't want to scare you.come here you both."(abeer picked up babies and started playing with them.meher left the room to get milk for babies from the kitchen)
when she came to her room she saw abeer happily playing with babies and babies were also enjoying his company.)
Abeer-"It's so beneficial to have kids you see?"
Meher-"why?"(confusingly)
Abeer-"because TV is not working and they are perfect entertainment"
Meher-"Abeer!!they're your kids not some toys"(Almost
screaming)
Abeer-"yeah baby thats why I love them so much and you much more"
Meher-"I love you too"
(and when they're about to kiss there was a knock on the door)
Sasha-"hey love birds!! Sorry to disturb you"(sasha winked)
Abeer-"Shut up you.brat"(hugged sasha)
Meher-"How are you Sashu.?"
Sasha-"I am very well and I can't wait so tell me where are your babies?"
(Meher directed her the babies room and sasha without wasting a second went )
AFTER SOME TIME
(Sasha came down from babies room playing with them and babies also liked her company)
Sasha-"My god your babies are so adorable,so cute"
Abeer-"of course they're sasha they are my sons after all and I've taught them,whenever you see a beautiful girl always smile and be happy to put a fantastic impression,so that girl can't resist herself to kiss you"(abeer winked and smiled)
Meher-"now don't start your gyan here abeer"
Abeer-okay..!! (made a face)
Sasha laughed and they all shared their some past memories for some more time and sasha left.)
AFTER FEW DAYS
early in the morning Meher was inside the bathroom,bathing while Abeer was keeping an eye on babies and getting dressed for the office.
As he sprayed deodorant on his boby.the babies started laughing may be they liked the sound of spray. Abeer sprayed again,they laughed again so this spraying went on for a few mints.
Meher-"Abeer,what the hell is happening?" Meher screamed inside the bathroom
Abeer-"what?you like it? Abeer asked babies and babies giggled.Abeer sprayed on babies too and they loved the cold touch on their tiny bodies.
Abeer emptied two bottles of deodrant and he picked up another bottle and spraying it too,the babies were clapping now.
(meanwhile meher came out of bathroom)
Meher-"Oh.god abeer what is this smell "
Abeer-" nothing its just perfume baby'they liked it."
(Meher smelled the babies and yelled at abeer)
Meher-"ohhh.my god abeer its hazardous for babies didn't you know Mr father?"
Abeer-"Nop sorry I didn't."
Meher-"leave it get me their soap and shampoo,I'm going to wash the babies again."
Abeer-"Careful! Don't wash one baby twice"Abeer laughed and left the room.
Meher-"Shut up..!! Abeer" (smiled to herself)
