That Day of the Month
Hi again to all those who know me and well Hello to those who don't.
I am Sukriti, a MEHBEER fan and have come up with a OS. Hope you like it.
Its tad bit long than I thought it would be so bear it 😃😛
Meher was irritated.
It was one of the days of the month where all she wanted was to snuggle in her bed and gobble chocolates while watching movies or listening the old tunes.
But alas being a CEO has its own set of goals to achieve and conditions to take care of.
So here she was sitting in her cabin viewing through the various graphs of the ratings of the channel and its shows.
ABEER
As soon as the name flashed, she was not surprised at the ratings of his show. They never went down but have increased as if the show never changed the slot.
Well to be honest she was not surprised she knew this would happen and that's why she did it.
When suddenly she felt a headache and cramps kicking in.
Argh great!!!!

Abeer was whistling his way through the office corridors thinking of new tricks for irritating her "BOSS" today.
He knew he shouldn't give too much time, attention, hell even a glance to her but its like when she is there, he has no control over his mind, body, soul and
he hates to admit but his heart too.
Meher has always been able to bring out the sneaky child him and even the responsible Abeer.
But he was in surprise when he couldn't find her conference room or in the lobby or with Sattu sir.
Finally he strolled towards the cabin and entered as usual without knocking.

Meher looked up and found Abeer with his stupid incorrigible rabbit teeth smile. But today she was in no mood to berate him.
" Kya hai Abeer? ", said Meher exasperated
" Kya kya hai, bas ainvaiyn!! ", said Abeer with his goofy smile
'' Ainvaiyn?!! ", said meher confused
" Socha apni biwi ki shakal dekh loon subah subah , din acha kat jaayega ", he said expecting Meher to rile up on him calling her as his BIWI.
" Abeer please mujhe kaam hai. Can you not disturb me today? " , said Meher.
Abeer was surprised to say the least.
First she didnt yelled him on coming without knocking.
Second she didn't comment on the fact that he just called her his WIFE.
Third did she just use Please?
" Ummm yeah sure, whatever", said Abeer taking a leave.
" Kuch toh gadbad hai! ", thought Abeer as soon as he came out.

He was sitting in his room contemplating what is exactly wrong with Meher when he realised she was not looking like usual.
She was more tired, a little pale and was she holding her head when he entered.
Abeer immediately strolled towards her cabin.

Meher was getting irritated real fast.
The lack of sleep and the pain of cramps had started taking a toll on her when she saw Abeer entering her cabin and Locking the door???!!!
"Ab kya hai Abeer ?" , said Meher frustrated.
" Kya hua tumhe? " , asked Abeer.
" Kya hua mujhe? " , questioned a confused Meher.
"Haan, kya hua hai tumhe? "
" Kuch nahi "
" Jhoot mat bolo meher "
"Abeer tumhari faaltu baatein ho gayi ho toh jao yahan se"
Abeer sighed and replied,
1. You didn't scold me for entering without knocking.
2. You easily let go of me on calling you my wife.
3. You used a PLEASE with ME.
and you say nothing's wrong!!
" Woah you seem to observe me a lot for someone who hates me "
" Dont change the topic Meher. And weren't you just holding your head plus you like tired so I ask you again, Kya hua hai tumhe? "
Meher was surprised, and embarrassed on what she should say.
" Ummm nothing its just lack of sleep "
" No its not JUST LACK OF SLEEP "
" Abeer please leave it "
" See you used PLEASE again "
" Abeer will you just let it go "
" No I wont "
" Abeer "
" Meher "
" ABEER "
" You know what Meher we can keep doing this to and fro convo or you could just tell me you know ", said Abeer while settling on the couch and munching on his chocolate.
Meher looked at him and then his chocolate and suddenly all she wanted was eat that.
Abeer saw her eyeing his chocolate and then suddenly he realised.
" You are PMSing arent you "
" Shut up Abeer "
" Well you are eyeing my chocolate like a thirsty person in the scorching heat of Thar looks at water. And I know how much you lust after chocolates during these days ", Abeer replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Meher was embarrased. But she was more surprised that he remembered and shocked when she saw him offering his bar of chocolate to her.
" Don't think too much into it. Its just chocolate, and why are you not in home? "
" And who is supposed to do this work ", said Meher while nibbling into his chocolate.
" Meher a day's break by you wont shut down this office "
" But will delay the work "
" God you're so infuriating !!!! "
" Fine I am taking you home "
" No you're not "
" Yes I am "
" No you're not "
Meher I may or may not have another chocolate bar you know and I don't think Sattu sir will mind if I take a break to drop my wife home, said Abeer smirking.
I am not your wife, Abeer, said Meher finishing the chocolate.
Finally!!! seems the chocolates still work, said Abeer with a goofy smile.
Well Meher really wanted to go home and after the convo she was feeling drained thus she decided to go home but of course Abeer had to come after her.
Well at that moment the second bar of chocolate was welcomed even if it brought Abeer along with it.

So this was it. I have no clue what came over me. This was more of a spur of moment.
