Pakhya and gang decide not to tell to Bajirao that they got beaten up at the school. Chinma hugs him and thanks him for supporting Bajirao. Radhabai sees them whispering and asks what's the matter. They lie to her and say that they were just talking about doing a play. Radhabai says she would love to see the play. Bajirao enters with a bucket full of leaves and tells Radhabai that he really enjoyed collecting leaves today. He asks her if she wanted to teach her the lesson of excitement'. She says yes. He tells her that he met someone today who taught him how important it is to stay excited about work. Radhabai asks who taught him all this. He tells her Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Everyone gets surprised. He tells them that he saw him in his dream. Radhabai gets happy and tells them that she knows that they are working on a play to perform on Shiv Jayanti and grants them a holiday. They get happy.

Aurangzeb approves the plan of doing a bomb blast in Saswat and gives the responsibility to his son, Kambaksh. He asks his soldiers to get prepared to end Tarabai's rule. Bajirao tells his friends that he does not have the guts to perform in front of an audience. His friends start fighting over the role of Shivaji. Bihu comes dressed as Shivaji Rao's mother and says she will decide who will play the role of Shivaji. Radhabai comes and says the scriptwriter should play the role of Shivaji. Chinma gets happy to hear that. She says their focus should be on learning and not on who's is playing what. Kamruddin hires a woman to kill Balaji and Tarabai and spoil Kambaksh's plan.

Chinma, Bihu and all others rehearse for the play. Villagers bring Shivaji Maharaj's idol in the village. Balarao comes there and tells Bajirao that he is playing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his play. Bajirao says he doesn't deserve to play his role as he joined hands with Mughal for some money. His class teacher reaches there and scolds Bajirao for questioning his choice. Radhabai comes there and apologizes to him on Bajirao's behalf and tells him that he should ask Bajirao why he doesn't find Balarao fit for the role. Balarao gets scared. Bajirao refuses to answer his teacher's question.

Gotya says he cannot play the part of Afzal Khan as it is like a sin. He tells Baji that he cannot become Afzal Khan in the play. Baji is doing a headstand and tells Gotya that he must finish his role well to prevent his mother from being insulted. He says we cannot let Balu become Shivaji in the play. In the morning, the stage is set for Shivaji's Puja. Tarabai does the honours. She narrates the story of Shivaji when he gave them a lesson of confidence. Tarabai says he taught us about life and that only those lose who do not have the courage to bounce back. She says I want to give Shahuji a gift. They bring a sword. Balaji says the sword is like Bhavani sword but I feel Shahuji is not worthy of it. Balaji says I have to inform Tarabai about the Mughal's plans. A man asks the teacher about Radhabai's decision to remove Baji from that school. Baji spots the man and gets suspicious.
