Anonymous,I liked the positive way in which you replied and so here is my two cents.I dont like or dislike Rumpa, or for that matter anyone. Coz it does not matter to me what they are and what they do or what they want to do.But at the end of the day if Indian television is to have credibility, then it has to have credible programmes and a programme that announces one thing and then depicts something totally different is ridiculous.Maybe Rumpa is really very nice, I dont know. But having agreed to star in a reality show she should uunderstand that the audience will react to what is being shown, be it the censured, manipulated or even selective video footage. And therefore a really intelligent and nice individual willa) not participate in a show that is manipulative, orb) having participated will uphold his or her respect and grace intact. It is here, if anything, that Rumpa has failed.Forget the tiltle of Perfect Bride, which after precisely 2 weeks of its ending no one will care about.Even the 25lakhs will after taxes be not so significant and ultimately willbe utilisedone fine day. What will then remain, will be Rumpa's own life and image. Thefore having displayed a sight on television that most people will have concerns with (to put it mildly), how is she then going to reconcile her life? Now maybe the Rumpas of the world don't care about these minor aspects of life like dignity, values and self respect. But to a lot of us, these aspects are very very important.😳PS: no hard feelings please, and hope have not hurt you in any way. Cheers😊
