Will Yash Give Gurpreet a Second Chance???

It's fairly obvious that despite her bitter statements towards Yash, Gurpreet still likes, or perhaps even loves, Yashdeep. Despite all the humiliation she has faced, she has always been open and willing to become Yashdeep's bride, however, the feeling was not mutual.

I think Yashdeep still likes Gurpreet a lot. Amrita Rao shared my sentiments perfectly on the show. We all saw Yash as very happy and content while he was with Gurpreet. I think, to an extent, he was willing to fight for her and change his mother's point of view, but never got the opportunity. We saw an attempt from his side, when he had come to the Mammi Mehal to interact with the ladies. However, after what had happened on the show (i.e. Gurpreet yelling and getting very carried away), Yash backed off. Now, Yash got a lot of flak for doing so, but in all honesty, who is going to sit there and tolerate someone yelling at your mother. I also sympathized with his mother because, although she was wrong, she was totally cornered and insulted as well. She didn't like Gurpreet, that's fine, why force her. Everyone has their own tastes and opinions, and you can't force someone to like someone else.

However, despite Yash's cold and distant attitude towards Gurpreet, I still think he held feelings for her. That's quite apparent with his sudden change in attitude. He always looks so cold, emotionless, and almost robotic. He doesn't care about being on the show, or for any other girl for that matter. He had admitted that he looks at the rose Gurpreet gave him every morning. I think, to an extent, that he was being a jerk to Gurpreet intentionally, so that she would back off and it wouldn't give his mother an opportunity to insult her. I think he was trying to save her from future despair. But it's quite apparent that his head isn't coinciding with his heart, therefore, I think he should give his relationship another chance and work with her mother.

The questions is, will he?

P.S. I love Gurpreet. Her and Pooja are the best contenders for this show.

the imp question is; would Yash's mom give Gurpreet a second chance? Yash follows his mother's rules n instructions, and his mother like Pooja and not Gurpreet. I like Gurpreet and I hope they will be a fresh new entry of a kunvar next week.

I doubt if Yash will, he just does not have it in him. I'd be curious to know how Yash's bhabhi is treated in that house. We have seen Yash's dad, heard about his older brother but never about his spouse.

When I first watched today's episode I was first sooooo sooo sooo happy that gurpreet is back, for me she is the most straight forward contestant there. When I was watching perfect bride this week it seemed that Yashdeep really liked Gurpreet, and to me it seemed as though he still wanted to be with her. But today when the judges asked him if he would give her a second chance he said that he likes his relationship with Gurpreet..just as friends.. :( HE is totally lieing to himself, I wish he just tells Gurpreet that he still has feelings for her, and not try to shrug her off all the time.

I dont think Yash wants to give her another chance. Now that she is back, I wonder why the show producers have bought her back? They are trying to impose Gurpreet and Yash despite his wishes. Hitty and Vivek have not been interested in her. So they are trying to forcibly make a jodi out of them, by emotionally blackmailing him by sending him her CD etc...She will be safe next week and I am pretty sure Pooja will be shown the door next week (I am assuming Gulabo again becomes the BOW).

I think Yash really liked Gurpreet - but with sooo much interference from everyone and pretty much everyone making him and his mom out to be the bad guys, he has backed off completely. He seems to be in a sullen mood all the time and because of all the pressure that the channel et al are putting on this jodi, I think he may not choose to give Gurpreet and himself a chance again!!!!

I don't think Yash wishes to NOT be with her. He wasn't happy with the way she spoke to his mother, but it's been quite apparent from last week's episodes, that he really liked her, and still misses her.

Bingo. Yash and his mother were totally cornered and ganged up upon. I mean, if my mother and I were in similar circumstances, and had to face so much pressure, then I'd probably make it easier for everyone and step back; which is what Yash did. He seems pretty logical to me.

Yash & mommy are not the victims here. No one out a gun to his head to go out on a romantic date with Gurpreet and carry on with her initially. It was Gurpreet whose heart was broken by that mom-son combo. I truly pity whoever marries Yash as he will not protect or stand up for his woman.

The weirdest part was when Gurpreet was saying her good byes, momma dearest even asked Gurpreet to touch her feet (if I am correct does'nt a MIL usually ask her DIL to touch her feet and get aashirwad?)

Does that mean Yash's mom was accepting Gurpreet? If not, why make her touch feet?

No one claimed them to be victims here. I said I UNDERSTOOD why he did what he did. You're not going to tolerate someone yelling at your mom. You're not going to tolerate being cornered and ganged up upon. You're going to distance yourself from the cause of the problem. No one here denied that Yash's mom was WRONG, but there was no need for Gurpreet to react the way she did, and made the case worse.

Had Yash known INITIALLY, that his mother was against Gurpreet, I don't think he would have started things with her initially. He discovered after the fact, that his mother did not approve of her. I'm thinking he still held hope that he could sway her mind? He did try to communicate with his mother when he entered the mummy mehal.
