I think she isnt pointing specifically towards anything and I dont see any problem in that (leaving my bias aside for Gur). But sometimes, the other person just does not give you a good feeling and you generally know that the person must be great but one cannot accept him/her. It may be anything, the way a person looks, talks, interacts with other person, qualification etc...Yash's mom may not have a reason for her dislike but just like how some people are, no matter what they do, they just annoy you. I dont know about others, but I have a strong gut feeling about people, which never guides me wrong. I met many great guys during the time I was looking to get married, everyone good in their own way, but I knew that they arent/wouldnt be right for me.!

And I agree with Yash's mom that if her opinion did not matter, she shouldnt have been on the show! He could have very well met someone outside and got married to her. Why did he come on the pseudo arranged marriage show? not all parents are open minded and its hard to change their mentality at this age, when they have lived with those set principles for 4-5 decades. Why do you think that arranged marriages still exist in India?

But that is where the problem arises, she said me and Yash aren't taking the decision his dad and my other son(Yash's brother) will be taking the decision, then why are Yash and his mom there? She gives stupid reasons everytime. Not one justified answer. If I was Gurpreet I would move on, seriously.

Hii, Well..I think the reason cud be anywhere from looks, education, or profession, or even yash's mum doesnt like gurpreet cause they dont make a good couple. This mum is 2 sensitive and pretty narrow minded...she cries over little things and I beleive her decision not to like gurpreet are always unclear. Maybe the mum is confused herself...or even she likes another girl for yash and is waiting for the right time to speak up. Can only wait and watch! 😛

Sometimes people just don't get along well,there may not be a valid reason for it.Or if there is she may not want to say it on national TV.

in my opinion

1st reson is that she is a sikh girl.{ his mother sad that we have to answer the society}

2nd his mother need a good earning bahu , when yash said pooja dont have a good proffession , his mother said thats why what i am telling that my 1st preference is nandita.{ i dont think gurpreet is more blunt than nandia .

i am very happy for gurpeet that she escaped from that kind of saas.offf i hate that lady.

i just read the profile of gurpreet she has also a good carreer she is Assistant Director (Yash Raj) . so his mother has a caste problem i am sure.

She will end living with them not us. She told Yash if Yash doesn't care for her opinion then he shouldn't have brought her to the show. As for Gurpreet I felt really bad for her. She is a girl with self respect and she should stay away from Yash after this.

if you see the old episodes (in US we are behind so i get the chance to see the old epis again) i observed that gurpreet is the person who b*tched about other people the MAXIMUM...she has said negative stuff about aunties and other contestants..so if yash's mom thinks that gurpreet is not perfect then she is not exactly wrong.
