Save the Date: Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'MS Dhoni' teaser to be out on March 19!

It will be released on the same day that the India-Pakistan match has been scheduled for the ICC T20 World Cup!

Sushant Singh Rajput's last release was Detective Byomkesh Bakshy which hit theatres last April. Ten months later, he's all set to unveil the first teaser of his much anticipated biopic- M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story. And the date has been locked.

Says a source, "Sushant just wrapped up the last schedule of the film and it has shaped up really well. The first teaser promo of the film will be out on March 19." What's so special about the date? "It's the day India and Pakistan go head to head against each other at the ICC T20 World Cup 2016." We hear Sushant will also attend the match which will be played at the Dharamsala stadium on 19th evening.

Why the choice? Explains our khabri, "Given that the film is a tell-all on the life of ace Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, it could not have possibly been a better date to unveil the first teaser. After all India-Pakistan matches are epic clashes." We cannot agree more.

The film releases in September and will also star Kiara Advani and Anupan Kher.

Are you satisfied with the way things have turned out for you?

I guess this is how things were meant to be. So, I have no regrets whatsoever. Whatever I am today and whatever I am thinking of doing in the future is the collective result of my achievements and mistakes; I love them equally. But with the experiences I have had, I've also realised that honesty and the sheer resolve of standing by your word is very rare. But this is how I will always be. I will follow the same path till the time I work.

Have you gotten used to the fame that comes with being a film star?

You feel great when people appreciate you. I use all the goodwill and appreciation as my motivating factor. Also, I have developed a kind of Teflon coating (laughs) for unnecessary and baseless criticism. So, I am flying high in my head right now, and am loving the attention.

Are there any side effects of being a big-screen actor?

There are side effects of both kinds " good and bad. You get extra zeroes in your pay cheques and opportunities to develop various skills for the movies that you do, so that's good. But there is very little room to be complacent. And, with the change in cinema, hopefully, there's less space for mediocrity too. There is also a difference in the risk involved as well as the preparation and the planning [films require in comparison to TV].

Is it empowering or burdensome to be famous?

When the eyes are on me with expectations, I work hard not to disappoint people. But, when they are on me with curiosity, I would definitely " and pleasantly " surprise them. And when they are on me to see my fall, I have just one thing to say, "Don't waste your time, you will be disappointed (smiles)."

Are you happy, unaffected or unhappy about the increased interest in your personal life now?

I am happy when they mean well, but indifferent otherwise.

Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput have been working hard on their movie Raabta. The two stars were recently spotted taking horse riding lessons for their movie. Here, they are clicked outside a restaurant in Mumbai. Also seen is SSR's girlfriend Ankita.

Dinesh Vijan's directorial debut Raabta went on-floors earlier this month. The movie was in the news initially for its casting woes. Alia was said to be doing this role. However, things did not work out for Alia and Kriti ended up with the project instead.

They do make a good on-screen couple, don't they?
