I don't know but to me I feel as of the Indian entertainment industry puts bollywood actors on a pedestal . Dancing shows singing shows any reality show they are always made a judge. It's an insult to singing to make someone's future dependent on the comments of some one who knows zilch about singing. RD would be a better judge at nach than sajid and Chetan bhagat (he's a great writer but dancer :/) the same way he would be a better judge in idol than sonakshi (love her but still). They are there for the publicity factor and to promote the show. Shows like saregamapa are amazing they literally only have singers as the hosts and judges. It's been going on for so long and they haven't found the need to bring in a bolly actor with zilch background .
