I CAN'T STAY A DAY WITHOUT MEETING ASHA: RITHVIK
He's hosted television shows, been a love guru, an ideal son on a daily soap, and even grooved on a reality show with his lady love, Asha Negi. Now, actor Rithvik Dhanjani (left) is all set to surprise viewers with his vampire act in a new TV show, even as he's simultaneously rehearsing for a stunt-based dance reality show. Here're excerpts of the fun tete-a-tete that we had with the 25-year-old:
How are you making time for Asha amid your hectic shoot schedules?
I always manage to make time for her. These days I am shooting from 7pm to 6am, and then I have my rehearsals through the day, but I can't stay a day without meeting Asha... so the other day, at 7 in the morning I went to her place and woke her up, and we sneaked out for breakfast... It's always important to make the person you love, feel special.
What was Asha's reaction seeing you as a werewolf in the promo?
Oh, she was very excited! She was like, Baby, you've done an excellent job!'
Do you think the audience will easily accept your new image? It's always important to give your audience a shocker.
Where do you see yourself after 10 years? Err... with a couple of big awards, and seven to 10-Bollywood-films-old.
When are you getting married, and where do you plan to go for the honeymoon?
Not before two years at least. As for honeymoon, well, Asha and I have already travelled to a lot of romantic places like Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Israel etc for work. We'd love to explore Europe but who knows, maybe we'd have travelled there, too, by then.
