Outside the Chawl

Savita takes Nina outside the chawl. Nina asks her where are you taking me? Savita says come with me, I'll take you to some place which you haven't seen in Canada. Nina says aai we'll see it some other day ok? I couldn't sleep all night last night, there were so many mosquitoes and now you? And why do you have this bucket? Savita says how will I fill up the water if I don't have a bucket? Nina says is this for the public? Savita says yes this place is for the public. Go wait in the line. Nina says there is such a big line to fill up water? Savita says if you don't get in the line then how will you fill up water? You don't know the fun of waiting in a line. Nina says you have me waiting here. Savita says don't complain, stand quietly. Savita and Teju go to fill up water. Sonu comes in the line, Nina angrily says why are you cutting in front of me? Sonu says Aunty sorry but I came in the line before you did, you cut in front of me. Nina says who did you call Aunty? Excuse me! I came here first. Sonu says you don't need to talk much in English, I know it too. Sonu says we take water first. Nina says I came here first, she says to the neighbors in front of her, excuse me, tell me didn't I come here first? Sonu says I came first! Nina says I came here first and I mean it, ok? Go away! Sonu says I came first! Nina says you don't understand? Get out of the line, I came here first and I'll get water first! Prashant comes outside and says Sonu what are you doing? Sonu says dada I came here first. Nina yells I came in this line first. Pushti is at the top floor of the chawl and she shouts, Gaurav dada, look at the line for water! Prashant says to Nina to let Sonu fill the water first. Pushtgi says to Gaurav, look at mom standing in the line for water! Gaurav says oh come on Pushti, did you wake me up to show me this?! Prashant says forgive me aunty but this girl won't fight for no reason, you must not have seen her in front of you and you're fighting like this with a little girl?

Outside the Chawl

Nina says I'm fighting? I came here first and she's trying to cut through the line. Gaurav says to Pushti and who is that boy fighting with mom? Pushti says how would I know, I just came! Gaurav says I'll handle him. Prashant is asking Nina why she's yelling. Nina says I'm not yelling, you just go back, I don't want to fight with you. If the elder brother is disrespectful then so will the younger sister be! Pushti is yelling at Gaurav to wait but Gaurav doesn't listen. Prashant says sorry Aunty but I wasn't rude to you and also it's not good to talk like this to a little child. Gaurav yells at Prashant and says will you teach my mom what is right and wrong? Prashant says please don't yell. Gaurav says you just stay away! Got it? Pushti says dada let it be, why are you fighting? Savita and Teju come. Nina says look aaji. Savita says what happened? Nina says I was in line first but she just cut me. Savita says Nina why are you fighting with a little kid? Don't you understand, let the little girl fill up water. Nina says see aaji,k they cheat and then argue, they just fight, fight and fight, it looks like they're your family members. Savita says yes she is in my family, let her get water, understand? Savita sees Sonu closely and says I've seen this girl somewhere before. Prashant says aaji it's you, we met at tai's wedding. Savita says tai? Which tai? Prashant says Ankita tai. Savita says oh! Savita says Nina we arranged for their sister's wedding, so their sister is our daughter so they're in our family, you fill up water. Nina says why aai?! Savvita says let it go, they're our own. Nina thinks to herself, oh God, she has made relatives here too and that too chawl relatives, what mentality. I don't know how long I'll have to live here for, it's best that we don't even meet Soham and his property becomes a part of ours.

Deshmukh House

The family is sitting down in the main room. Mansi comes in the house. Manav says Mansi, you? Mansi says Namaste. Ankita must have told you about us, we met her at the mandir. Mansi says no, tai didn't tell me anything, I came myself. Shashank and I shifted in this chawl yesterday, the kids will lvie with us in this chawl too. Prashant saw aaji this morning while filling up water, he told me that you all came here from Canada so I wanted to meet all of you, that's why I came. Mansi gives them ladoo. Everyone smiles. Police inspectors come in the house. Manav says Inspector Saab, you? Archana says did you find out anything about my son? The police inspector says actually last night, unfortunately we couldn't catch Soham but we found out from the bar owner that he goes to that bar and drinks alcohol from there often and we also found out that he was there yesterday. Archana says Manav if he goes to that bar then how will we find him? Manav I don't want to lose my child again, do something Manav, how will I get Soham back? Tell me, I want Soham. Manav let's look for Soham in the place where we saw him last, he'll come there, I know it, I don't want to lose Soham at any cost. The police inspector says no there's no need for that, I have already put a team to work, they're doing their operation. I gave all of the railway stations and police stations his photo and as soon as we find out something we'll tell you. Manav says thank you Inspector. Manav shakes hands with the police inspector, the police leave. Archana is crying, Savita says Archana calm down, don't be so tense, the Inspectors are doing their job, they'll find Soham, calm down. Sachin says it's not been one day but 20 years, times have changed but this man! He's the same, he drinks alcohol and goes to the bar, steals. Gunda. Sachin leaves the room angrily. Mansi says Namaste, I'll head out now. I'll pray to Bappa that you guys find your son soon. Namaste. Mansi leaves.

Karmarkar House

Naren and Ankita are in their bedroom. Ankita says Naren sir, I've signed all of the papers, now you sign them and sign as Naren Karmarkar. Naren says I'm Naren Karmarkar so I'll sign as that only, I don't know why I signed as Aman Mathur before. Ankita says Naren sir it happened because there was constant talk about Aman going on. Naren says yeah I was talking more about Aman Mathur then Ahana. Naren signs the papers and Ankita says I will send this to Shekhar. Naren sir today I went to Shekhar's office and you know who I met there? Naren says who? Ankita says Pari. Naren says who's Pari? Ankita says Pari is Arjun sir's daughter. Naren says Arjun sir never said he had a daughter named Pari.

Deshmukh House/Karmarkar House

Archana and Pari are talking. Pari says aaji she looks just like you! She's like your carbon copy. Archana says I know, when I saw her for the first time then I was surprised too like you, I just kept looking at her and wondered how can this be? But she's a very good girl and you know who Ankita saw first? Arjun, she began working in Arjun's office and then Arjun called Purvi, I remember well, and she married Naren Karmarkar. He and Arjun are business partners and the best thing is Manav and I did her kanyadan we helped her a lot in her wedding. Pari says Ankita was saying that, nice girl, I liked meeting her. Naren says to Ankita, I feel good. We should meet her, it'll be fun and also Arjun uncle is one of my best uncles, he's like my business friend. And I'll tell Pari how many projects I did with her dad, successful projects and I'll also complain. Ankita says why complain? Naren says he doesn't eat his meals or exercise. Ankita says Naren sir you're saying it like as if you eat on time too.

Deshmukh House/Karmarkar House

Naren says yes but I do exercise and since you came, I try to eat on time too. Ankita says yes you're trying a little bit. At the Deshmukh Home, Pari says to Archana, aaji I don't know but there is something in that girl, we met for the first time and talked for the first time but I felt we had something in common, I mean maybe our thoughts are the same or we like the same thing but I felt I was talking to someone of my own. Archana says I felt like that too, when Manav and I saw her for the first time we felt like we knew that girl. We arranged her wedding and you know Pari there were a lot of complications in her marriage, lots of problems but when I met her at the mandir she looked very happy in her life, I feel like I have done my duty. Ankita says I felt really good when I met Pari, she's really sweet, she talked so well. We didn't know each other but I felt like we had a relationship somewhere, I don't know if I'll ever get to meet her or not. What happened sir? Naren says enough of Pari, I don't like it.

Outside the Chawl

Pushti is outside talking to her friend. She says India is too good, in fact it is the best. The Pav Bhaji here and Pani Puri is so good, I'll call you later. Pushti runs downstairs to get some Pani Puri, as she's going down, Prashant and her bump into each other. Pushti falls, Prashant apologizes and sees that she has blood on her, he tries to help remove the blood. Pushti says no I'm sorry, I was tryign to get Pani Puri. Gaurav sees Pushti and Prashant downstairs, he runs down and he pushes Prashant. Gaurav tells him to get lost, Prashant says to him that instead of yelling at him he should be taking Pushti home. Gaurav says I have been seeing your behavior since yesterday, first you were fighting with my mom and now my sister got hurt due to you. Prashant says it's nothing like that, I didn't do it on purpose. Gaurav says shut up! I know people like you well. You chawl people! Prashant says stop! If you say anything about the chawl people then. Gaurav says what will you do? Gaurav pushes Prashant hard, Prashant grabs Gaurav tightly. Gaurav and Prashant start fighting, a man comes and tries to split them up. Manav comes out and sees what's going on. Manav shouts Gaurav! Manav comes down and asks why are they fighting. Prashant says ajoba it's not my mistake. Prashant tells Manav how Gaurav was insulting the chawl people and says aren't chawl people humans too? Gaurav tells Manav that due to Prashant, Pushti got hurt. Prashant says ajoba it wasn't my fault. Pushti says ajoba it was my fault, I ran when I saw the Pani Puri and he helped me and Gaurav dada started fighting with me. Manav says Gaurav, the chawl which you're insulting is the same chawl where your ajoba was raised, I am a part of this chawl and today what you're getting is from the chawl, if the chawl wasn't here I wouldn't be alive. To curse this chawl is like cursing me. I understand you're from Canada and you were raised there but that doesn't mean that the people who were raised here are bad. Manav asks Prashant forgiveness on Gaurav's behalf. Pushti apologizes to Prashant, Prashant says it's ok, take care of yourself. Pushti asks if she can call him Prashant dada. Prashant strokes her and says why not, you're like my younger sister. Manav and Pushti leave, Prashant and Gaurav give each other hard looks.

Pari's house/Shekhar's house

Pari and Shekhar are talking to each other on the phone. Shekhar tells Pari that it will be in her benefit to work with the Indian company. Pari says yes Mr. Gupta your proposal is good but how can I work with an unknown company? I mean I'm new here I can't trust anyone. Shekhar says leave it to me, I know of a company which you will blindly trust. You know how you met Mrs. Ankita Karmarkar at my office? If you don't mind, can you work with her? Pari says that would be nice, I don't know why but I think I can trust her. Shekhar says I guarantee you, Mrs. Ankita will never break anyone's trust, Ms. Pari if you're comfortable shall I fix your meeting? Pari says sure, thanks. Shekhar says done.

Karmarkar House

Naren picks Ankita up and he says Ahana I'm very happy. Ankita pleads with him to let her down and asks him why he's so happy. Naren puts her down and says because your Best Businesswoman of the Year Award is going to come. Ankita says I didn't understand sir. Naren tells her how Shekhar suggested Pari to work with Ankita in a project and says it's a very good project and guess who your other partner is? Ankita asks wsir who is it? Naren says guess. Ankita doesn't know and Naren says Arjun sir's daughter Pari. Ahana no excuses, you'll have to do this project immediately. Ankita says but sir? Naren says Ahana I've already said yes to Shekhar and fixed your official meeting with Pari. Ankita says Naren sir please try to understand. Naren sir I can't do this project with Pari. Naren says why? Ankita says she's so experienced and handles projects so well, she's probably handled so many already, if you're with me then I'll do it, promise. Naren says are you a school going kid? Ahana you're doing this and all by yourself. You're doing it alone and I'm with you, morally I'll support you but you must do the rest. Ankita begs and Naren says remember the client meeting, you were so afraid but all the clients were so impressed. Look Ahana this is your show. Naren goes to the closet and takes some clothes out. Ankita says Naren sir why are you taking out my clothes like this? Naren says Ahana when I go to an important meeting you take out my clothes. Ankita gets up, Naren tells her to sit down.

Karmarkar House

Ankita says what are you doing Naren sir? Naren takes out a handkerchief and watch and purse and hairclip for Ankita. Naren says you get me ready everytime, I will charge your laptop and send it to you, and I think that's it. Come on get ready quickly, good girl. Ankita says Naren sir please try to understand, when I go to these meetings then I get very scared, I get nervous. If you're with me then I'm ok. Naren says tell me one thing, how does Pari look? Is she cute, beautiful? Ankita says I like her sir. Naren says then why are you taking the risk? If I see her then she'll take me and fly away with me. I can't do a meeting with Pari, you are my Pari who I've already set up a life meeting with, go and get ready quickly, good girl, go.

Precap: Ankita and Pari are at a dine in place. Ankita says to Pari you have praised me a lot, we're hungry, we should order something right? Ankita calls a servant and says excuse me. The servant comes and Ankita and Pari say at the same time, cheese garlic. Ankita smiles and says our favorites are so alike and Ankita says cheese garlic bread. Pari says yes but I used to prefer pizza before. Pari smiles.
