RD and Asha had already announced they were quitting at the leap but Zee and BT didnt let them go as ArVi are important characters in the show and the actors are very popular too. So Ekta made AshVik an offer they couldnt refuse. 😉

Very few actors have the gumption to refuse Ekta...she usually gets what she wants! Those who dumped Ekta have suffered later in their careers. We all know the examples.

Firstly, Ekta's iron clad contracts - not easy to escape, especially if you are an important lead like AshVik were as ArVi. The CVs made them an important link between pre-leap and post-leap. Karmarkar-Kirloskar-Deshmukh from Arjun or Mhatres-meting Deshmukhs link via Purvi. Because the indications from video are on phasing out not replacing. Maybe as Pallavi said, they were convinced to stay for a shorter period of time.

Secondly, I believe channels play an important role in trying to retain the popular actors in a show. reason - award shows, popularity, concerts, advertisements etc. rides on them - the known and popular faces.

And Zee usually tries brings back its stars, whether it's the same show after a hiatus or another new show. Karan V Grover (Yehan Main Ghar-2, Punar Vivah 2), Suhasi (Yehan Main Ghar-2, Housewife Hai), Rubina (Chhoti Bahu 1 and 2 and Punar Vivah 2), Avinash (Chhoti Bahu 1 and 2). Whether the second show does well or not is another question BUT Zee will always try to retain the stars.

As far as i know, AshVik quitting PR has been in the news for sometime now. I think this all of a sudden news about AshVik quitting PR is nothing but a rumour. Who knows what the reality is. But i know as a matter of fact that ZEE TV is a highly biased channel, they have so much politics. They are only AshVik for popularity's sake, from when they've come in Nach Baliye 6, Zee Tv has probably realised the importance of two popular actors. So i dont think PR and Balaji is going to let go off them that easily.

If Asha and Rihvik decided to quit, then they should have done it when the leap occurred. usually no one dare to break EK's contract. if they do then they have to face the consequences.

Not a huge AshVik fan bt i still like their jodi..
I wanted to slap that umeed wala channel when they didnt nominate ArVi in best jodi award..
U nominate bhade jodi n dat dori wali jodi .. Wat a big joke...
Zee tv never promotes its actors properly...
Look at Saas bahu plus
it is reaping the benefits of AshVik popularity in nach baliye.
Using rd only for hosting n promoting n then givng a big Babajikathullu is a big let down
I think Sp will use AshWik very well

Well said, zee Tv just use Arvi for promotion nd other things but never give them awards.

But quitting is not in the hands of the actor, they are in contract with the PH or channel and until their contract is over, they cannot quit!

Hope they only did a 6 months contract this time and they quit after that period is over!
