I am pretty bored with the new track. I find it very uninteresting and think people will tire pretty quickly. While Ankita looks stunning and vivacious, and I adore her outfits, it is easy to see the setting up for pretty much the same old same old story. Why? Another opportunity lost by the writing team. or...the Ekta. It could have started a whole new style. The casting of the family of children was superb though. The children are adorable and good little actors. That IS the one skill that Ekta has, she's good at picking winning actors...then of course, unfortunately, she gives them crap as roles...and ruins the characters she so skillfully develops. On purpose.
If indeed Purvi and Arjun parted over her misunderstanding about who the baby was...it's so illogical that no one should be the slightest bit angry at Purvi, as there is no possibility that a couple would separate for 20 years and not a single person in the family know the truth. To think that Arjun would not have explained to DK for example is utterly absurd. So, please, leave Purvi alone. Go to the source : you know who. EK.. Hopefully, her producing skills can be redeemed a tiny bit so that there is another more plausible reason shown.
I find it laughable also that after 20 years, the bad nature of Shirish hasn't been revealed yet? All of a sudden after 20 years he will prove to be a crook? What a stupid story.
I know there are people who love this new track, and i am happy for them that they are enjoying it, but i have to have at least SOME semblance of reality, even if stretched and silly. In this new track, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - of substance.
I certainly have no intention of "hoping" for happiness with the characters or anything positive. I learned SOMETHING from Charlie Brown & Lucy and the football.
