After reading at some of the comments here about the sunglasses it seems like statements are made without any knowledge. Don't they know Why Purvi was wearing those sunglasses? Where Purvi is concern even her injuries are not spared.

I would also like to add that oversized sunglasses have been the fashion trend since last year! So its not weird to see women and girls wearing oversized sunglasses because thats what most of them wear!

It also helps to hide any problems like eye infections or tired eyes, etc.

I'm sorry Asha Negi got hurt. Let's be clear that Purvi did not have an eye infection, Asha Negi did. Thus the glasses in the show on Purvi remains hideous. Im quite sure there are much more elegant ways to hide the injuries to these actors than the unimaginative band aids and hideous sunglasses indoors which is most inappropriate.

Unimaginative band-aids? Really? Im quite sure she is required to have the band-aid on her chin for medical reasons, so how will she replace it? How can she open it risking infection to her injury?

And how will she hide her eye infection without sunglasses? We all wear sunglasses when we have eye infection as we dont want people to see our infected eye. In an actor's case, its even more imperative to hide that as the whole world is watching them on TV!

What can be the elegant ways to hide stitches? By make-up? That might infect the injury?

Purvi, the character is acted by Asha Negi so when Asha has a serious injury or eye infection and the PH doesnt give her a few days off to recover, then her only option is to wear big sunglasses and cover her stitches with band-aid.

I didn't like the sunglasses and wondered why she was wearing them suddenly but once i found out i understood. Then i realized why she wore those ugly glasses to protect herself and others and not to look pretty.

I wonder if she was infectious & how big was the infection and thus the big glasses to cover it. They appeared to cover the sides of her eyes also I think ... Perhaps to prevent infection.

I feel bad for her that she has to work in spite of eye infections and being injured. She should have been given a few days off.

So what just because they werent pretty she shouldnt wear it inspite of having eye infection!?

You please be clear!

You werent there when she and CVs were thinking of ways to hide it so you clearly dont know about the situatiion they were facing that time !

She should have taken leave because she wasnt having 'pretty glasses' to hide her infection!

But still she did (true proffesionalism), she shot even though she knew they werent pretty and she wont look good!

You should salute that instead of criticising!

Well first lets get the facts clear here...Asha the actor was suffering from eye-infection ...now since she is unfortunately or fortunately the one who is playing the character of Purvi...she cannot tell her eye -infection to disappear for 12 hrs of her shoot and then return back to her eyes after she finishes shooting for PR...she ain't any magician to disappear things...right????

Now its true that it was not shown as to why in dat particular indoor scene with Archana she was wearing the sun-glasses...now that is neither Asha nor Purvi's problem ...its d creative writers problem ...who basically thought it was something that could be just sidelined...so here i would say its the creatives /PH/channel that is at fault ...

btw we know that usually actors costumes and accessories r provided by the PH ...so actors need to wear what they are given most of the times...

The most simple solution that could be thought of was to arrange for a body double for that particular scens or just scrap off the scene...well clearly dat scene din't seem very important *just my POV*...

So its sad that even with an eye-infection actors were not allowed to take days off n come back fit,fine and healthy...more than the actors i feel pity on the PH/channel who cudn't afford for a body double...

now that was all about the huge larger than faceugly looking sun-glasses that u mentioned...

now let us look into the matter about the out of the blue unimaginative bandages that we can see Arjun and Purvi with...well we all saw the epi where Purvi met with an accident...now how why n by whom the accident had occured thats agian a mystery...but here the CV's did try to show and convince us audiences with something so that we don't start wondering about the sudden badages...even regarding Arjun's bandage...he had told his maid's granddaughter Tina..that it was nothing and said "woh kuch nahi bass woh hotel mein... " n thats it there ends the explanation for that scens...again here we are left with wondering what happend in the hotel...so again a creative flaw i would say...

now since that both of them were seriously injured in real...n their injuries were not small ones...the two couldn't just remove the bandage off n shoot ...because the wound needs to heel be protected from dust so as to prevent infections...hence they are/were still shooting with the bandages on...

well its really very appreciatable that both the actors even after suffering from eye infection ...and the injuries ...still were/are shooting with the pain...

n the most sad part is that d PH/channel is so dependent on the story of the Arjun and Purvi that they couldn't afford to give them atleast a few days off so that they could return back fit and fine...well since the show has so many other characters they could just run another story in parallel until Asha n rithvik(Purvi n Arjun) could resume back to work after taking ample amount of rest.

Purvi did not have an eye infection..but Asha Negi did..and Asha Negi is playing Purvi in the serial..so its not that Asha's infection will disappear and come back after her shoot ends..It was not shown as to why Purvi was wearing glasses that is Cv's problem..
Much more elegant ways like?What more an actor who's suffering from a Bad eye infection can do to hide her infection when she's onscreen?She was not wearing those hideous fugly glasses for fun...its all PH's problem that they couldnt find a body double for Purvi..and here we are crticizing Purvi coz she was wearing those ugly glasses indoors yeah right !
