Dissing the contribution of other actors in the show is not fair and highly unrealistic! Im sure RD has a huge fan following, Asha too has her own fans!

Maybe Onir had popularity for a short while, during the Kolkata days, even I liked him a lot!

But they ALL contributed to good trps, not just one or two! And when the story went downhill, trps sank down.
I wont name the show but another top rated Zee show with extremely popular actors and great trps recently plumetted down on trp charts! Why? Because they messed up the story badly! BIGTIME!

THE STORY MATTERS!

In PR, TRPs fell because nobody liked the whole ArVi-Ovi-Onir mess at all!

Even recently, TRPs went down again because everyone hated what the CVs did with Soham! How they turned him negative and the way his parents did his shradh and disowned him! 👎🏼

Negativity doesnt work! Proper storyline, sensible plots do work!

I am not dissing anyone ,I didn't take anyone 's name .I am just happy that whenever Ankita was given a dramatic situation as Archana , she did relatively better with the TRP's ...

If you don't agree with my comments then fine ..

Archana was being called irrational and I am saying that I don't think that she is the most irrational, others have made more damaging and irrational decisions ...and Archana is good for TRP' s , that's it .

I know story matters a lot , in fact the most but some characters do become very popular n a show and I believe that Archana ( with or without her blunders ) is someone who is very popular ...the producer of the show recognizes her contribution ..

I like other actors too..I like Hiten and I think he is a fine actor and whatever scene he gets he does well ..Ankit Narang as Soham is excellent .These guys are doing a great job in the show ...

Like everyone else , I am also just giving my point of view here.

By taking only certain names, you are dissing certain others! Thats called dismissing by omission! So far you have mentioned Ankita, Hiten, Ankit, and Onir's contribution...the omissions are quite obvious! 😉

So Archana's blunders bring trps? While Purvi's blunders dont? That is what u meant, right?

Yet trps went down considerably after ArMaan beat up Soham and did his shradh! No Indian parent would enjoy watching that kind of melodrama!

I do not have the history of PR trps before me, but I can safely bet that trps went down after the major blunders Archana did in the past.

Viewers dont like illogical plots and idiotic sacrifices! Its not abt Archana or Purvi, who are very similar by the way! Archu instilled her mahaanta ideals in Purvi...😆

Its abt illogical twists and brainless sacrifices! That is what affects the script and trps!

The producers and Zee would not have pleaded with the younger actors to stay on the show after the leap, if they didnt value their contribution or recognize their popularity! 😉

Bad trps are not because of the actors, they are doing a great job inspite of bad script. But us viewers can only digest so much crap, so when it gets really crappy, trps go down! Simple and logical!
No one single actor or actress can carry a show on his/her solo shoulders! Not in an ensemble cast!

Oh believe me I read clearly the first time. I agree with each and everything you said until you solely recognized the messy triangle (square?) as the cause of the low TRPs.

But other than that, I think a well-written storyline is the most essential, as you also mentioned. And I agree with your second post as well.

The messy triangle was a major part of dipping trps especially when it was dragged for months and brainless bits were added to it! But it was an example of why trps dip! In last 4 yrs there have been many such illogical twists which made the viewers turn off the show! I know I did ...I had stopped watching the show when such tracks were going on!

i dont understand why people not accept the contribution of ARVI in PVR .Both have a strong fan following which definitely help bosting TRP. in every serial when leap happen new charecter being loved and appericaite like karn and nandani & KT n dushk in KSBKBT and Adi and mathili in KGGK and Prem and mukti inKZK so in PVR its purvi and arjun. Arman is the main lead ofter that ARVI is the 2nd so both are importent for PVR . I like archana a lot she is the backbone of the show but ARVI another reason to watch this show. TRP.s up and high is the part of the game so why make responsible to some charecter.

You like Arjun and Purvi and I know you do not like Archana but that's Ok, they are only fictional characters and everyone has their own favourites ...

I also did not take Ovi's name and I know she has many fans but I don't see them complaining .

As for Archana installing mahaanta in Purvi ..Archana gave her good values and yes, like her mother Purvi also sacrifices but I feel that Purvi has very little respect for the law and I feel that her decisions have harmed more than do good ...

Anki's fans have waited for this for so long .

I don't know how well Anki will do in any of her other shows but I know she is very much loved as Archana .Her mannerism , her acting and looks , it is all so right for the character of Archana .

Other actors are also part of the upcoming leap . Arjun Purvi ,Ovi ,Soham...they will all play grown ups ( 40 plus ) and I am sure that this will be challenging .They don't have to change their appearance that much but their acting has to be right ...Ankita took this challenge 2 years ago and she did a great job ..Good luck to the other actors as well ...

I know the show is looking a bit like a crowded market place but I still wish my fav Anki good luck and also to two more actors , Hiten and Ankit Narang as they are my other two favourites ...

Everyone should be allowed to have their say and support their favourites ...

Oh, so Im criticizing Archana nowadays means I dont like Archana?

Then why was I defending Archana last year and earlier this year?

Because I agreed with her actions at that time and I disagree with her approach towards Soham now!

And I didnt see many Archu fans defending her on those posts either. Also a certain thread which has been bashing Archana for last 3 yrs or more is not a problem with her fans! Very Strange!

Im not the one getting mixed up between character and actor here! We are talking abt trps and actors!

RD and Asha ARE the 2nd leads and they have been contributing to the show's success for last 2 yrs!

Why is it so hard for Ankita fans to accept their contribution? I wonder...

As for the legal issue...Did Archana have any respect for the law in Vaishu and Madhuri's case? Did she always do right by everyone?

BOTH Archu and Purvi are high-handed in their moral decisions and dont consider the after effects of their actions! Purvi is just following in her Ayi's footsteps!

As for Ovi, shes not the 2nd lead, ARVI ARE! So bringing up Ovi's name is unnecessary here!

But yes, Ovi- Onir all have made their contribution to the show and I have no problems admitting it!

Since RD and Asha are staying on after the leap, Im sure they will do a good job in mature roles, like many other Balaji generation leap couples before them.

This is not the first Balaji show Im watching!
