Box Office Prediction For SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE

"Shuddh Desi Romance" is releasing tomorrow and this film is directed by Maneesh Sharma who directed sleeper hit "Band Baaja Baraat". Though last Maneesh Sharma film "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl" remained average. Both these films were penned by Habib Faisal.

This time around Maneesh is teamed up with Jaideep Sahni who wrote "Chak De! India" and "Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year". This deadly combo makes this venture exciting and that is clearly visible through promos. Film has good music and almost everything to attract urban youth audience to cinemas.

Film will start well at box office and with good reviews coupled with positive word of mouth, it can do wonders at box office. Also massy film "Zanjeer" will not eat into its target audience.

Box Office Prediction:

Contrary to the reports that Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra were locked in the room for three days for Shuddh Desi Romance, the duo has a different story to tell. Parineeti, in fact, clears the air and reveals that they were never locked in the first place.

Parineeti elaborates, "Aditya and Maneesh were just causally chatting and said, Forget acting for some time. Let them sit and understand the character.' That certainly doesn't mean that we were locked."

As far as chemistry is concerned, Parineeti further clears the air and says, "There was no need to lock us in the room for the so-called chemistry as I think Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma are fabulous filmmakers who can get the chemistry out of their actors. Had I been told to be locked, I would have quit the film in the place."

Sushant immediately interrupts and informs, "The room we are talking about is where the entire creative team (directors and producers) sits and brain-storms, thus, the entire thing was blown out of the proportion by media."

On being probed about what was his lady-love Ankita Lokhande's reaction towards the rumour, Sushant replies, "Since, I barely get the time to stay with her, she asked me, Tum iss room mein toh rehte nahi kis room mein rehte ho (you don't get time to spend with me at home, what is the story behind this room)."

This time Parineeti interrupts and concludes, "See, it is not just confined to your partner, even my parents must have felt bad. It was a stupid rumour and shouldn't have been blown out of proportion."

I think it was a totally unnecessary comment from Parineeti. I can understand her being annoyed, but she knows they are going to ask about it, so just get over it. Sushant finishes his answers on Ankita pretty quickly anyways.
