Sushant Singh Rajput who's been labelled as the boy-next-door' is certainly one of the few actors in Bollywood to watch out for. The actor proved his mettle when he played a very unconventional character in his debut film, Kai Po Che and received immense accolades for his performance. The actor who began his career as a Television actor is now going places in the film industry.
Sushant is like the new-age Bollywood hero who is re-defining the idea of a male lead in Indian films. For about decades now, Indian films had heroes with a larger-than-life persona and the scripts went by the textbook definition of a hero, who will have all the exceptional, adorable, parent worshipping persona with the ability to finish of 40 baddies with his bare hands.
The actor was born in Patna and moved to Delhi in the early 2000s where he joined Shiamak Davars's dance academy and Barry John's theatre classes but the actor first came under the spotlight for his TV Serial Pavitra Rishta.
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 was just an additional compliment for the actor as it proved his outstanding dancing skills and the actor kept his momentum going. Another thing is that the man has made a name for himself in this industry without any filmy background or contacts. And he's surely got the potential to make it huge in Bollywood.
Looks like this year will prove to be a lucky one for the actor as he will be looking forward to marry his long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande after the release of his film, Shuddh Desi Romance which also stars Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. Sushant already has a few films lined up - Peekay and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.
