Even I wish that Purvi had not forced Arjun to marry Ovi, but then at the end of the day it's a serial. It has got to be melodramatic to sustain in the competitive arena. And honestly speaking, even now Pavitra Rishta is a masst masaledaar show for me as I know many tracks are left for me to comfortably sit on my sofa and watch :)

But consider this, if a predominantly male audience sits and watches, applauds and appreciates the macho hero beating up 50 gundas in a Bollywood masala movie, then why cant a predominantly female TV audience sit and watch, cry and applaud and appreciate the silly, yet basically noble sacrifices of the omniscient heroine?

Ekta's shows are female dominated so when we start watching Ekta's shows we are prepared to watch such heroines in action. Heros are merely props in Balaji shows, the heroines are the superheros handling all the problems, taking decisions for everyone! Didnt Archana do the same all her life? Purvi has learned such heroism from her Aayi only. 😊

After ARVI separate last September I know everything of EK serial. This is my biggest lesson of Indian drama especially EK mata nature. But separation track of ARVI is 100% flop. After separation ARVI popularity increase day by day. After as much as try CVs ARVI more separated they failed miserable. They completely fail to separate ARVI & their fan emotion. At last they learn their fault. Now they rectify their mistake. Hope ARVI united soon without any rona dhona & stupid thing.

Not only the separation but the manner in which Arjun Purvi were separated was the stupidest thing ever which challenged even the usual suspension of disbelief we exercise while watching these shows. In her older shows, Ekta didnt employ such a nonsensical track for separating the lead couple. In her previous shows, the reasons were more believable as misunderstandings were created by negative characters and the lead couple fell victims to their plots. But lately Ekta has lost that credibility too as in BALH also, the 5 yr separation track was utter nonsense, again decided single handedly by the heroine to act dead for 5 yrs for the supposed bhalayi of the hero. 😆 Ekta is losing it!

That was worth loathing... Nd after all that happens to onir nd ovi yes arvi can reunite happily...
