Manav is a let down

I think that Manav is a total let down in terms of the character he portrays. He always seems to be partial to his daughters and son Sachin. I think Archana needs to wake him up to the reality that while Sachin has not only wronged him bitterly after looking after him all these years and he was able to forgive him in no time then his elder son Soham should be forgiven and corrected more because in reality he has not exactly offended him as a father.
On the other hand, Manav has become an obsessed man in terms of his huge ego. He forgets that he was uneducated and just a mechanic before he became this successful businessman. Someone needs to make him understand that he has lost a bit of his humility in all of this time.
He forgets that though Arjun agreed to marry Ovi in Canada and then changed his mind after meeting Purvi the boy didn't do anything wrong. In reality he actually confessed to not having any liking to marry Ovi in front of all his family. Manav has truly forgotten what real love is all about.
He fails to understand that Arjun can love someone other than his daughter Ovi.
Even the hospital scene clearly showed that Manav will never understand the love between Purvi and Arjun and he thinks it's disgusting.
He hates Arjun only on those grounds - for the simple reason that the latter found true love.
In fact, he fails to see that Sachin and Ovi committed similar more serious offenses in breaking up the marriage of Archana and Manav and Arjun and Purvi with one unsuccessful in the act while the other succeeded in doing it. Both Sachin and Ovi were brought up as selfish creatures with no thought for others just like his mother Savita who did not even care about his own happiness just as much as Ovi and Sachin never cared about Manav or Archana's happiness either.

I agree! Manav has forgotten that he was a simple mechanic in a car garage and he also barely had an education. So why yell at poor Soham who never got a chance to be educated?

this is exactly on point. I hate Manav's character now. he's too biased and lacks reasoning nowadays.

Manav makes this whole pretence of living in a chawl inspite of being a millionaire but truth is he has forgotten his roots! He has forgotten where he came from, what his background was and he shd remember what he is today is solely because of DK Sir's confidence in him.

He shd show the same confidence in Soham so he can uplift himself from his hoodlum background and find success in life like his dad. And his dad shd be the one to help him do so...

.I hope they redeem the character of Manav soon. And he becomes a proper dad to his longlost son Soham.

As for Sachin and Ovi, hes blind to their faults and crimes. Sachin wronged both him and Archu but was forgiven in a jiffy. Ovi blackmailed Purvi to 'GET" Arjun but shes protrayed as the victim by Manav and Savita. Why blame Arjun when he had clearly said many times (in Canada and India) that he doesnt love Ovi? Why blame him when Ovi was equally responsible, for the failure of their marriage?

As per Arjun & Purvi matter all are find their fault. No one find any good deed. But Sachi & Ovi matter all are concern. After all they are poor bechara & bechari😡

manav is one of the most annoying character in pavitra rishta now specially in soham matter,its now soham's fault that he was kidnapped then raised by gunda now he is uneducated n became like the way he is but now that he is trying to be nice man manav is disencouraging him it's so bad he have zero percent care for soham n other annoying thing whatever ovi does it's correct ovi can do anything manav is really one annoying character now i hate his character
