Can anyone tell me why it is so significant- the meeting of ankita and arjun?!? why the intense music and the drama? why would arjun care if ankita was soham's daughter who looked exactly like archu? if the d-clan can disown pia along with ovi then y would soham's child be any different for the d-clan? why are they showing arjun and his sob story so often? we get it! he's all alone- aww poor pwince arjun! (imagine purvi's baby voice saying that). same scene of his loneliness all over. the cvs have been repeating scenes which means they still dont know what to do with the whole shenanigan. why in gods name did they separate this insepid couple? why did they make ovi have a child before the leap and if they did then y just leave them to disappear? what is all this achieving? Im getting tired of this snail speed moving story. in the previous leaps we knew everyones situations instantly and could connect to the story forward. now its just getting boring. now i don't think theres any good fate that is laying ahead for ovi and pia so I'm just gonna give up.
ankita is interesting right now but she's too much like archu. I thought she would play someone completely different personality wise. i wanted to see her as a not typical nice, good hearted lower middle-class chawl girl for a change and have shades of grey. the only thing 'grey' about her so far is that she doesnt make herself seem like a constant victim like archu and doesn't believe in bappa (which is not really a grey streak. to each their own) but its like watching pr from episode 1 without the spark that was Sushita and the simplicity that was their life and marriage. i like ankita but watching her play the more 'bindass' version of essentially same character is kind of meh! the part of her life she is not aware of, by default makes her complicated but she's trying to hold onto the old school archu charm and given the convoluted story, all of this is just not working for me. its like watching a repetition of a show on that same show. i didnt want ankita to be anything like archana cause her situation is NOTHING like archana's. she is educated, independent, two generations younger and extremely poor- i wanna see her hustling for a living and education for herself and her siblings. not soham part 2 but someone with less middle class bhashan wala principles cos guess what? she isnt middle class! she's just at the poverty line if her younger uneducated brother is the sole bread earner in the family. i expected salted cinnamon caramel ice-cream- layered, rich and multi-dimensional in taste and instead they gave me plain vanilla with a few nuts thrown in here and there. she just as boring as every other serial ka heroin- kinda reminds me of kkusum, archu, purvi, khushi, prerna. just a huge snooze fest. i hate these ghisa-pita feel emotional for the poor inncent girl making her ends meet sympathy tactics. i just am not very good at being sympathetic to people just cause they're poor. both my attention and my sympathy has to be deserved and is not given by default. cvs should not presume that by keeping this 'mystery' and going really slow with the repetition of the same track, that they will fool us into believing that they know what they are doing. bye bye to you guys! since I've had more time lately due to being on holiday so you guys can catch me at jodha akbar forum!
