Chapter 86 -
Purvi was standing in front of the mirror in her room and tears were rolling down from her eyes looking at her bald face. She was not even able to meet her own eyes. She felt helpless and she felt anger inside her. In that desperation and anger she took a vase kept on the dressing table and throw on the mirror due to which mirror broke into pieces.
Archana, Ovi and Teju heard breaking of glass sound from inside the room and now they got really worried and started to bang Purvi's door more harder. When they were doing this at that very moment Arjun, Manav and Sachin entered.
Manav (sounding concerned) - Archana...Archana what happened? Why are banging Purvi's door like this.
Archana (crying) - Manav...Manav...Purvi has looked herself in the room...She isn't opening it either.
Hearing this everyone got worried especially Arjun.
Arjun - But Aunty what happened all of a sudden? Why is Purvi not opening the door?
Manav - Yes Archana, Ovi...what happened. Till morning everything was fine...then...
Archana then told exactly what happened and hearing this Arjun was not able to control himself. He became now desparate to watch Purvi. And now he went and started banging the door requesting Purvi to open it for once.
Arjun (in a very concerned voice) - Purvi...Purvi...please open the door...Please Purvi...Please talk to me once...Purvi I know what you are facing right now..but please let me in atleast.
Purvi was sitting on the floor taking the support of the bed and her hands clutching her kness tightly and her head covered between her legs. Hearing Arjun's voice Purvi got scared even more. She didn't had the strength to face Arjun like this. Her sight fell on the glass pieces around her and she got even more worried.
Arjun - Purvi please...please listen to me once...I can very well understand what you are going through...But Purvi locking yourself is not the solution..Please open the door...
Purvi (after much strength and still crying) - Arjun...Please leave from here...I am not going to open the door..You all don't know how am I feeling right now because it not you who are going through all this...its me...its me...
Archana - Purvi...Beta I know and I can understand what you are facing right now but Purvi today or tomorrow this had to happen and you were aware of this na...Purvi you can neglect everything but you cannot neglect that its due your Cancer only your hairs...
Archana stopped without completing the sentence...But still everyone understood what she exactly meant.
Manav - Purvi Beta...we know that its not easy for you to accept all this but you have to face the truth and if you lock yourself up like this than no one will tell that you are my brave daughter...
Saying this Manav broke down and Sachin handled him.
Purvi after much struggling in her mind and heart finally got up and started moving towards the door. She was about to open it but again took her hand back.
Purvi (crying) - Ok...if you all want then I will open the door...
Everyone hearing this got happy.
Purvi - But I have one condition...
Arjun - Of course Purvi...whatever you say we are ready to accept it...You just open the door.
Purvi - Promise Arjun you will do whatever I say...
Arjun - Of course Purvi...
Purvi - Then my condition is...except for Aai no one else will enter my room.
Hearing this Arjun was in shock.
Arjun - Purvi...what is this condition?
Purvi - Arjun you promised me and now you cannot turn back your promise.
Arjun - But Purvi...
Manav kept his hand on Arjun's shoulder and signaled him to accept what Purvi said.
Arjun (after clearing the lump in his throat) - Ok Fine...we wont come in the room..But please you open the door.
Purvi got satisfied and therefore she opened the door a little.
Arjun signaled to Archana to take care of Purvi and Archana responded giving a nod to him.
As soon as Archana went inside the room, Purvi immediately locked her room back not allowing anyone to even get a glance of her.
Arjun felt really bad over what Purvi did but he knew and understood what Purvi is going through all and therefore he felt he should give Purvi some time to cope up with the situation and therefore he just came and sat on the couch and covered his face and started crying.
In Purvi's room -
Archana came in and saw Purvi. Now Purvi hairs had totally gone. Purvi just looked down and was continuously crying. Archana immediately hugged Purvi and Purvi too reciprocated and hugged her back and broke down. Archana too was crying but at the same time started calming Purvi down.
Later in the night -
Purvi was sleeping on Archana's lap and Archana was caressing her. She was lost in thoughts of Purvi's health.
On the other hand Arjun was in Manav's room. Manav was sleeping besides him but Arjun was not able to even wink his eyes as his mind and heart was with Purvi. He was very concerned about her and wanted to see her desperately but the promise that he made to her had tied him from inside and he was cursing himself that why he made such a promise to her.

Arjun than shrugged away the blanket covering him and got up and went near the window and started staring at the moon.
He thought, "Please tell Purvi that I love her and I don't care how she looks because she will always remain beautiful in my heart"
On the other hand Purvi too was standing near the window and glancing at the moon. She thought, "I know Arjun loves me and doesn't mind how I look but until I become that much capable to face myself I wont be able face you Arjun...I wont...

Purvi's chain of thoughts are broken when a glass falls down due to wind and makes a light noise. She for a moment thought that Arjun has come. Her this thought makes her face lit up but at the next moment she again felt sad and she just takes the glass keeps it back on the table.
