This small town ambitious girl, after a brief cameo in Sony TV's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, bagged a meaty role in Pavitra Rishta.

When asked about her nomination, she said, "It's an honour for any artist as Telly Awards are very genuine and reputed. I am new to the industry and don't really know what and how to say things or express feelings. But if I do win the award, I will definitely throw a big party."

Who does she consider as her competition? "I consider Zoya of Qubool Hai (Surbhi Jyoti) to be my competition and it's going to be a touch race. But let's hope for the best. On God willing and receiving support of fans, anything is possible."
