otherwise there is no need of such a scene in the plot at all..

I think this scene was added so that they can next make Arjun go and tell Purvi to lead a normal married life with Onir.
Arjun understands from the conversation that Onir and Purvi aren't normal husband-wife yet.

since cv's r running out of mind they'll show that the true pavitra rishta exists only between doctor n arjun😆😆😆
