Kools, fab commentary and some really good points there! What an episode full of hypocrisy and K nonsense...only part stood out was
laadla Soham! How I am growing to be so fond of this character!
Loved all the posts today by everyone :) Varsha di, glad to know you are feeling better :)
I wanted to totally LOL during that marriage scene and there after with jeeja saali...Jeeja is thinking of his fake pheras with saali...and saali is thinking of forced pheras of jeeja with behen...Even here, jeeja is shown to be illicitly thinking of saali...I don't know what they want to do with Arjun's character...Daily lows he reaches with every new episode...I agree with the bade log chote log crap dialogues...Like I said, the only thing left for Arjun to do is make a makeshift mandir or Purvi in his office and just go around chanting jor se bolo jai purvi ki, sab koi bolo jai purvi ki, everywhere he goes...and mainly in front of his very understanding wifey :P Again, his timing is never right and this way he cheats on his wife once more. All in the name of love and pavitra rishta!
The way he runs to help his ex-lover saali...ohooo...I wonder if Ovi was in danger, he would not even pick up her calls! I just pity Ovi now for having had no foresight of this situation and getting married to a spineless man who is totally under control of Purvi mata. And Purvi not once denied the false accusations on Arjun of being a cheater again. She stood there lame and dumbstruck as usual and letting Arjun be portrayed as the characterless moron (although he is one now) and her as the bichari pavitra naari...Waiting for her pregnancy now to demolish all her pavitrata..one big smack on her, Sulo's and Archu's faces that will be. Redemption I guess for some of us viewers :P
As for Sulo, she really is the limits. I have never seen her concerned about Purvi or any grand kids actually, unless it is about their lack of sanskaars. Why did Manohar have to leave the house, I wish Sulo had instead! She is simply ridiculous...and all her meddling in Archana's marital life has only brought this day today. I even said yesterday, that this woman is sitting at hoem and thinking of ways to introduce sanskaars to the new grandson, but what about going and visiting your daughter once in jail...she is ready to take Manju back, but doesn't have even the slightest pain at what the other daughter has turned into? The mother should have first inclination that her daughter is suffering mental trauma and eventually that led her to this wayward life...No matter how nalayak, won't you want to go visit her once and talk to her? But sulo, like archana, can only handle one child at a time. And for sulo, it has always been Archana the silly sanskaari goat.
I loved loved loved loved Soham today! I felt the same thing, that here this boy on pretext of his challenge, has come to see the family that claims to be his, the house he was born into, the parents whose love he lost and simply to see their reactions. But the Desh-Murkhs, as usual lost their sole chance at making him feel welcome in their lives. I loved the way he set them all straight...whatever Varsha has done, I feel more sympathy for her mamta than I do for Archu's fake nonsense. I loved Soham's dialogues for everyone today. Sadly, the bonding between him and other 3 siblings is going to be zero and Sanskaari Purvi will hog the limelight soon on that front. And yes, he should be most angry at K ladies, since one daughter kidnapped him and one daughter let it happen. But this truth will be out, when Sulo can tell him about the truth of the kaand that Varsha did ages ago and about Satish and the history of whole thing. But instead, she decides to keep coming up with new plans of how to install sanskaar updated versions in him.
Hiten and Ankit did a very good job with acting today. I really really like Ankit Narang in this role. He reminds us of the cute baby Soham, has the innocence, the wild side and the most naughty smile ever...And when he speaks in his bihari calling Savita nautanki budhiya, I was totally in splits...Waiting for the day he calls Sulo moti sasoori :P ahhahah.haha
Wish new Sachin was a little more dynamic though...my POV strictly..so no offence to the actor.
Hoping for a good Balan-Manav confrontation scene sometime. Hope Balans puts him in his place like varsha put Archu in hers. Manav has been no less of a poor father who hasn't been able to raise 3 babies he took with him, nor could he prevent the nonsense his wife was doing due to his clouded love. He deserves every bit of the pain that Soham is going to unleash.
and yes, I agree, Soham is most realistic character on the show right now. His genuince love for his parents ( no matter how they are) is heart warming. Manav needs to learn here. In spite of what Varsha did, soham still gives her respect because she brought him up, gave him love and looked after him. I am sure even after he finds out the truth about abortion or Satish or whatever, he may not be able to accept her, but will def not do this public humiliation and give her the kind of irreparable pain that Manav did. I was LOLing even when Manav was talking about how he let his mother stay at home because she should have a shelter and home and all that to Vinod when he as convincing Vinod to go live with Sulo. Manav simply forgot how he told his mother to leave and he would be least concerned. Pity on the name of a son this Manav. Soham has his priorities, feelings and head sorted unlike any of his family members who are richer, more educated and have had a "superior" upbringing apparently.
Thank god, for this kid not having raised by Archu-Manav. !!!
I don't care about pregnancy track or any other muck shown, just please CV's you need to keep Soham's essence intact and keep him real! No amount of sanskaars from the devis should whitewash his mental balance like Arjun and Manav. My sincere request!
