As promised guys, scenario two.
The hearing is scheduled to be held within the next two days. Purvi gets nervous as the date approaches. She still thinks that Vishnu is different and she starts questioning whether she should withdraw her case.
Meanwhile, Vishnu is agitated and uneasy as said date approaches. He does not want it to be known that his father Balan is actually the ring leader in their sting operation. He vows that the police will never find out this truth but at the same time he is worried that he might be sent to jail. He is not worried about himself but he worries how his maayi will handle this situation. He does not want to see his mother in tears as he loves her dearly. He promises himself that he'll make Manav Deskmukh and his family pay for every tear that his mother has shed.
Vishnu decides to take matters into his own hands. "I will have to deal with Ms. Purvi today itself" he says to himself. He checks his gun and ensures that there are enough shots left in it. He puts the gun into his pocket and goes out in search of Purvi.
At K house:
Purvi's mind is in chaos. She remembers how Vishnu treated her when she had gotten kidnapped. Her heart softens towards him. She argues with herself saying that Vishnu is good at heart and that maybe circumstances compelled him to do what he has done. At this point her mind is in a whirlwind. She is confused and does not know what to do. She decides to go to the temple and seek God's blessings.
At Arjun's house:
Arjun and Ovi are having yet another argument. He shouts at her because she brought him the wrong tea. "Ovi quit trying to get on my good side. How many times must I tell you that I don't want anything to do with you?"
Ovi starts crying and Arjun is not moved by her tears. "Ovi I think you should go to your baba's place for a few days."
"Naahi Arjun, I won't leave until we solve our differences"
"Ovi! So help me I will drag you out of here myself!"
"Okay Arjun, I'll give you some space. I'll go to baba's house for a few days." She goes into her room and packs with a heavy heart.
She walks back outside and asks Arjun to drop her off. He agrees to do so.
At temple:
Purvi is on her way to the temple. She is unaware that Vishnu is following her. She goes to get the offerings. Vishnu smiles to himself thinking that he has caught her all by herself and that there is no one to protect her from him.
Ovi sees the temple and asks Arjun to stop. He stops the car and Ovi gets out. She tells him that she'll just be a minute. She'll offer her prayers to God and be back. Arjun parks the car and gets out. He starts thinking about all the special times he and Purvi shared. He remembers their first temple scene. Tears well up in his eyes. "What were you thinking Purvi? I can never be happy with Ovi when I love you."
Arjun turns and sees Purvi going up the temple stairs. His heart skips a beat. He blinks thinking that he's daydreaming, but of course it's not a dream. His goddess is right there before him. He runs to meet her but his eye catches a sudden movement to the side. He turns and sees Vishnu pointing a gun directly at Purvi. He is panic stricken and calls out to Purvi but she does not hear him. He breaks into a sprint and rushes up the stairs. He grabs a shocked Purvi and pushes her to the side. "Arjun? What's the matter?" she looks at him in confusion.
She starts yelling at him that he's a married man and that he should forget about her because what would Ovi think. Arjun however is trying to get her to move. He notices Vishnu getting ready to fire. Purvi is putting up resistance and does not want to move. Vishnu raises the gun and Arjun makes a split of the second decision. He pushes Purvi and at the same time a gunshot is heard. Everyone scrambles for safety. Vishnu manages to make his escape in the crowd. Ovi is running down the stairs when she stops short and screams. Purvi is also standing shell shocked.
There lying at the bottom of the stairs is Arjun who is bleeding profusely. He is unconscious. Ovi runs to him and so does Purvi. Both girls start crying.
"Arjun!!!!!!!!!!!!!" both cry out at the same time.
Ovi reaches him first and calls out his name. She starts crying uncontrollable. Purvi reaches them. Ovi sees her and starts yelling "Don't you dare come near him! This has happened because of you!"
"Ovi please, Arjun needs to be taken to the hospital. He's losing a lot of blood!"
The girls get some men to lift Arjun and they put him in the car. Ovi gets in to drive and Purvi sits in the back with Arjun's head cradled in her lap. Ovi drives like a madwoman in her bid to get Arjun to the hospital. "Arjun, please open your eyes" Purvi cries. "Nothing will happen to you. You hear me, nothing will happen to you. I'm here. Your Purvi is here"
Ovi glances sharply in the mirror but holds her tongue. They arrive at the hospital and Arjun is rushed into the Operating Theatre. Purvi's salwar is blood soaked. She touches the blood and starts crying. Ovi is frantically pacing the corridors. Purvi goes to pray to Ganapati baba.
The doctors come out and tells the girls that Arjun condition is quite critical and that he needs a blood transfusion. Ovi offers to donate blood but her blood type is not compatible with Arjun's. The doctor asks Purvi what is her blood type and she responds. The doctor says that it matches Arjun's. Ovi pleads to Purvi. "Purvi please save my husband, I will be forever indebted to you!"
Purvi agrees to give blood. The doctor prep her but explains to her that this procedure is very risky as Arjun needs a lot of blood. "Doctor ji, please take my blood. Do what you must. Please save Arjun. I am ready to give up my life for him!"
The doctors take Purvi away and begins the procedure. Purvi lies on the other bed next to Arjun. She looks at her love and silently prays.
Its morning and the entire D clan are there. They doctors move Arjun to another room so his recovery process can begin. Purvi is feeling very week. All rush to see Arjun. He is stirring from his slumber and calls out to Purvi. Ovi is quite. Purvi quietly leaves the hospital in her weaken state and proceeds to the temple on the hilltop to offer her prayers.
The doctors asks Arjun to take rest as he's been through quite an ordeal.
Archana takes Ovi aside. "Ovi how long will you let this matter escalate? Can't you see that Arjun and Purvi's love is pavitra rishta? Ovi, Purvi has done so much for you. I am not asking you to leave your husband, I'm asking you to do what is right! Think long and hard before you take a decision."
Archana looks for Purvi but is unable to find her. She is worried that Purvi needs rest as she is in a weaken state. Ovi remembers Purvi's promise to Ganapati Baba. She storms of without informing anyone where she is going.
Meanwhile, Purvi is fighting to gain strength to make her journey to the hilltop. She is bare footed and begins her trek to the top. It is a very tedious and tiring journey but Purvi is determined to offer her prayers. The sun is beating down on her and she feels thirsty. She is tempted to drink some paani but she does not want to break the fast that she is observing for Arjun. Each step she takes is painful for her. Her feet start getting blisters but she continues with her determination to reach the top.
The temple is now in sight and a breathless Purvi struggles to reach it. Suddenly she feels light headed and faints. She is caught by someone before she hits the ground. It's Ovi. She sprinkles water on Purvi's face. Purvi regains her senses and stares up at Ovi. "Ovi, you're here? You should be with Arjun. He needs you right now"
"Purvi let me worry about what Arjun needs right now. I am his wife I know what's best for him. Right now let's get you out of this sun. "Naahi Ovi. I've made a promise to the Lord and I must keep that promise at all costs!"
Ovi then helps Purvi climb the stairs. She lends support to her since Purvi is limping because of the blisters on her foot. They arrive to the top and both go to seek the Lord's blessings. The sisters stand side by side and prays silently. They then do the aarti together. Purvi gives the holy offering to Ovi to take back for Arjun. "Ovi please ensure that Arjun gets this. I am going to go far away from your lives. Please take care of my Arjun."
Purvi turns to walk away but Ovi stops her. They have a very long conversation and then Ovi leaves. Purvi is left standing there with a shocked expression .Ovi goes back to the hospital. She goes to see Arjun. He is awake and talking to his dad and Manav. He is telling them that Vishnu was about to shoot Purvi and he couldn't let her die. DK sees Ovi and smiles. "Ovi my dear, where have you been?"
"Baba I went to the temple to pray for my husband"
Both DK and Manav smile. She goes over to Arjun and gives him the offering. He in turn glares at her but accepts it. He winces in pain as he moves. His eyes are searching for Purvi but she is nowhere in sight. He feels sad. Ovi asks him if he is looking for someone. He does not answer. She takes his hand and says, "Arjun I have been in love with you since we were kids. I wanted to get married to. I thought we would be happy. I had woven so many dreams for us". Manav and DK get uncomfortable and are about to leave but she motions for them to stay. "Arjun I will do anything it takes to make you happy"
"Ovi I can never be happy with you. My heart belongs to Purvi. I love her."
"I know Arjun. And I was wrong. I should not have made that deal with her. I wasn't thinking clearly at the time. I just wanted to get married to you. Now I know that this marriage will never work."
"Isn't it a bit too late to recognise this? You got what you wanted. You won."
"Naahi Arjun, I haven't won. I failed to get your love. I release you from this marriage I want to get it annulled. You deserve to be with Purvi." Arjun is shocked.
She turns and calls out to someone. All turn towards the door. They see Purvi standing there with tears in her eyes. Ovi goes to her and brings her inside the room. She tells every one of Purvi's promise and how she followed Purvi to the temple. She takes Purvi's hand and places it in Arjun's. "You two deserve each other. Your love is pavitra rishta. I was wrong to come in between the both of you. Please accept each other for the sake of that love. Arjun I free you from this marriage." She starts crying and goes to Manav for comfort. Arvi looks at each and their love is evident on both their faces.
Manav is hugging Ovi. "You did the right thing dear. I'm proud of you."
"Baba I need you now more than ever. This is really painful for me but it is the right thing to do. I cannot be so blind and selfish to over look their love." Manav looks at his daughter and thinks "today my daughter has really grown up!" he promises Ovi that he will help her deal with the pain of losing Arjun.
Arvi hug and confesses their love to one another. (The Pavitra rishta theme plays in the background) All look at them and smile.
Guys, I'm sorry for yet another long post. Hope you enjoyed. I really don't want a pregnancy track planned for Arvi's reunion. I am trying my best to give Ovi some redemption as well.
