Now Sachu , who was used to getting slapped and insulted like Manav [ Sulochana had slapped him although technically he was not even related to her { but then Sulochana slaps all and sundry } now Manav ,and that day Suochana had insulted him in the doorway although he never frequents her house even for a cuppa tea without even hearing him out ] gulped and told him the truth ...that the signatures belonged to Savita and that he had gone along with the charade .
Why ? screamed Sad Manav thinking on what he had missed . Why o Why o Why ?
Because of hope ...replied Sachu frankly . You see i had hope that u would get married to my mother Shraavni and finally give her some status .
Beautiful Archana wept . She knew exactly what he was talking about for she shared the same hopes . She and Sachu had jointly hoped together that 52 year old Shravani was still waiting and waiting in some part of the world pining with the expectation of being re united with 61 year old Sad Manav . What unusual dreams they were ! thought Beautiful Archana . Sad Manav would never understand .
Teju also wept . She told all about how Beautiful Archana had nursed her in sickness when she came to India by giving her shelter in her house . She honestly didn't care that her mother had tried to prove her father fraudulent in court 18 years back. So what if Sad Mana had even gone to prison ...it must have been some noble purpose.She thought about the nursing and wept .
Then Damo came forward . He told Sad Manav by cross questioning Archana [ for so noble was the lady that she sealed her lips tight and never blamed her evil saas even once .] that Savita was the one who never gave Beautiful Archana the tickets to Canada and instead gave her divorce papers .
He even showed guts and yelled at his wife when she called him 'old man ' . His alcoholism and irresponsibility of so many years were washed away by this one good deed. So beautiful did his bou look while weeping that he wanted as usual , to place his hand on her lovely head and give her ashriwaad .
Sad Manav then became quite , quite hysterical . Such trickery ! From my very own ! Forgery ! Sending the divorce papers to me by courier in ...er ...Canada while i thought my lovely saintly wife had sent them to me from India ! Sad Manav was very upset about being made a fool of about the geographical locations . Whatever did these people take him for ? He talked very harshly to his evil mother and his conniving step son .
I will teach you what it is to be away from your children as you kept this veritable holy woman away from hers for 18 long years . [ Sad Manav had quite forgotten that she had lost Sachin and was seperated from him forever .] I will go so far away, so far away that you can never come between me and my pyaar again . You not only kept the children away from a simply wonderful mother but u came between my pyaar ! You saw how i spent sleepless nights without her , how my heart beat for her !
Sad Manav did not mind the children missing their mom so much as he minded the loveless , lonely nights . With a hindi song blaring in his head !To have such a beautiful wife and to live like a monk was terrible . Sad Manav felt like banging his head on a wall . What had his mother done !
The others :
Prince Arjun stood with his lips slightly parted like a goldfish . It was his first experience as a damad with sasuma's noble antics . He honestly didn't know what to do . It doesn't matter if he had married any Vi ...Purvi or Ovi . His fate as a K damad would have been the same .
Ovi sobbed with Teju .
Sulochana was having high blood pressure along with a threatening asthma attack . It happened to her when she had this urge to slap each member of her daughter's sasural and couldn't because of some long speech by someone . They deserved her slaps not bhashans .
Sage DK kept his opinions sagely to himself . It distressed him to know such personal details of his buisiness partner at his son's wedding reception but what to do . His opinion that his business partner had married a veritable saint was confirmed .
Vandu looked , pained at her Aai . Formerly she had been enjoying at Ovi's reception just as she had enjoyed Purvi's engagement . She was alarmed that bcoz of her Aai's deeds she would never be invited to parties again .
Now for two questions of the day .
How do the forged signatures done 6 months back account for the court case done on Manav by Archana as a wife 18 years back that would have led to his imprisonment and ruined him financially .
How do the forged signatures account for Soham's loss and what became of his life later when he could have a wonderful life with his father because of the nobility of Archana and the obsessive compusive disorder of Varsha who Archana always shielded .
None of these two issues have been resolved yet . Sachu is made as a target to be slapped by the CVs but does Manav have the guts to publicly slap the love of his life who gave him these unresolved issues in the first place ? Or is he still terrified of his mother in law's slaps ?
PRECAP: All the 3 siblings Ovi , Teju and Sachu go to meet Purvi to thank her for her 'tyaag' . Her 'tyaag' is succesful guys is the moral of the story .
Kools signing off for the day . What a lop sided episode guys . Reminded me of the days why i stopped watching this show .
Needless to say Savita screwed up her face and cried at Sad Manav's rage .
