Well, if DK talks to Archana by then like he said he was going to about the 10k, and archana will probably absolve him atleast of that by then whether she accepts him or not. Even otherwise, there are bigger things at stake so all that 10k nonsense may not pertain now. DK will probably step in with the money anyway.

Nonsense is what it was from the start, asking a well established young man to give up his means of livelihood to prove that he can support her daughter by doing manual labor, the poor woman has no two sensible thoughts to rub together. But the gauntlet was thrown and Arjun picked it up with aplomb so the matter has to be resolved one way or another and not left hanging like the sword of Damocles over ARVI. Hopefully, she will indicate at least in passing that the matter is over and done with now that he will save Purvi. DK's talking to her will not make sense, if she meant the challenge truly then any mishaps to the prize money should not enter into the equation, the money should be produced to win the challenge, period. Unless the savior bit negates or voids the challenge.

Left to me, I want Arjun to earn the money and give it to Archana and claim Purvi. For all he had to go thru, he deserves that credit, not just swept away in the tide of things. And also, i would like to see Archana acknowledge his efforts fully and directly and not in passing and agree to them based on that fact alone because she challenged him on it. And arjun has met it splendidly despite all odds !!
But, will it happen that way is left to be seen. It looks like the focus is moved to this silly kdnapping fiasco before closing the other one. The 10k track is trickled down now. They could still manage it well without messing up either. Let us see how it goes.

jhanvi...it was a long time ago in PR land that she issued this challenge... and not to hash over old business 😆 but that wasn't the intent at all of Archana's thinking. She felt that Arjun had two timed the girls because he was rich and powerful and felt he could just do whatever he wanted. She was terrified he would get tired of Purvi just like he seemed to with Ovi, and fancy whomever he wanted. Remember she didn't have any of the facts that we have...particularly since DK kept them all to himself Her challenge had nothing to do with money, but to see what kind of stuff Arjun was made of without the protection of his wealth. She had to see what kind of a person he really was. She had every right to challenge him to protect Purvi. It was already too late for Ovi. I support her challenge to him, and he has proved his point...especially if Archana finds out about Churan etc. I think she already is beginning to see that Arjun is a good person. But it's very clear to me at least that doing this was the best thing that happened to Arjun. It shaped his character and matured him in a way that never would have happened otherwise.

Naava, the challenge has nicely matured Arjun (maybe you saw my post Arjun Transformed), no doubt about that. Not doubting Archana's right to issue a challenge or be critical of Arjun either, just the nature of the challenge "earn Rs. 10,000 to have my daughter, give up your identity to do so" doesn't quite sit right with me. A different sort of challenge to prove his love would have sounded more plausible. But you are right, the reason she issued the challenge is water under the bridge but now that the challenge has been issued and accepted, I, like Jyothi, want Arjun to prove himself to Archana in the very way she wanted him to :)

And the more important part of it now, Jahnvi, is to see Archana acknowledge and accept what he did for Purvi !! I very much want to see that. That will be a true test of archana'a and everyone else's claim that she is doing this ONLY for Purvi and has nothing to do with Manav and Ovi. As you know, I am not convinced that it is 100% that.

yes i hope she will accept him and realize he is a good guy !..and i also wish DK would clear the air on his part in all this...at the moment he is letting Arjun take ALL the blame...and DK certainly was complicit in the whole affair. 😆

A huge ransom will be demanded under the mistaken belief that Purvi is Manav's daughter but will Manav comply? For that amount of money, he might not or he may seeing Archana go berserk with worry but then will Ovi and Savita remain quiet if Manav even entertains the thought of paying the crore and a half? My guess is Ovi will be fuming especially after seeing the nok jok between Arjun and Purvi at the janmashtami celebration. Savita will have a few choice words to say about Archana's gold digging tendencies and more than a few unkind words about Purvi.

Arjun will have to accede to Archana on her challenge and turn into AK to pacify the kidnapper. Oops, he has no monies, he gifted them all to Ovi so he will have to go a begging to his dad. Will Archana forgive him this trespass as he will be doing this solely for her soul child?

Your thoughts, please! :)

Yap i agree with you..kidnapping Purvi will bring all this drama where else kidnapping ovi will bring will bring less drama...and i think archana will never forgive manav if he doesn't give the money because purvi is being kidnapped only because she called Manav baba...i don't think arjun his broke because he told archana he withdraw his name from OVT industries...if you remember when he meets Purvi the first time and she thinks he his just the manager not the boss she will say that he will say that i am the owner of AK industries...so he still has money in other componies...i think the company in india was his and ovi's but he has other componies in his name...

Since he's already given his away, the money will obviously come from his papa dearest as he has already accepted Purvi in his heart as his bahu.

Manav would try to help based on that "helping humanity' pretense they all use when they don't want to admit their true feelings. He won't stand by idly even if Ovi pouts and Savita screams - a girl's life in in danger.

I did find it odd though that after the hospital scene with Sulo when Purvi moved away from Manav and Archana that she would so nonchalantly go up to Manav for his blessings at the dahi handi festival - did I miss something somewhere?

Hello Laurie,
Me too, was totally 😕 by Purvi going to her Baba and getting blessings and touching his feet 🤢 after the way he treated her and Arjun in the hospital...but i bet you it has something to do with the Vishnu n gang of 3 idiots...that specific dialogue and moment...
