After watching today's episode, I really want to know what exactly is Archana's problem ?
She needs to take a break to sort out her thoughts and conclude as to why she hates Arjun.

• Is it because Arjun loves Purvi and refused Ovi
• is it because Arvi took her further away from Ovi
  
• or is it because he is DK's son and has no identity of his own
• or because Savita challenged her to be fair towards Ovi and refuse Arjun for Purvi as well.

I do not understand what nonsense Archana was blabbering. Instead of coming straight to the point with Arjun and ticking him off for misleading Ovi , she started off a tirade on her relationship with Manav and how she was looking for somebody like Manav for Purvi. Excuse me this very same Manav left you 18 years ago. You symbolized Manav with trust but this very same Manav did not trust you. And where did money come from ? I mean what is Arjun's fault if he is DK's son. As far as I can remember, neither Arjun nor Dk have ever tried to show-off nor did he break the relationship with Ovi for money

Uff guys ! beware. As a MIL, Archana is 2 nautches above Sulo. Arjun is getting himself into trouble.

Well then she should stick to the point. There was absolutely no need to tell Arjun that he had no identity other than being DK's son. There was no need to tell Arjun that she wanted someone like Manav for Purvi. Its not that Arjun is a stranger. He knows quite a bit about Arman relationship. Where would Archana hide her face if Arjun had listened to everything about Manav and then coolly asked , Ok , if you say Manav is so great and that he kept you so happy then why the hell are you guys separated now for 18 years and now are heading for a divorce. It was Arjun's good education and values that stopped him from questioning back. Secondly when Arjun and Ovi were getting engaged, it was a match made in heaven for Archana and now it suddenly seems all fake just because its Purvi and not Ovi. I want to know what would she do if Ovi had not taken this so seriously and moved on. Fact is Archana and her mother Sulo has always strived on double standards. They change colours as it suits them and as the situation warrants.

Archana is stuck in a tight spot. I believe she doesn't know what to do, so I think she's doing what she thinks is right.

Yup that is what I thought! She was bragging about how she could smell the fragrance of labor in his sweat, how she could see the dardh in his eyes but how he loved her and how she could rest her head on Manav's shoulder in times of joy as well as sadness, and a whole lot of hogwash! As a to be mother in law, she should be taking Arjun to task for what he did to Ovi and to Purvi in the bargain and ask him point blank to prove his love for her daughter, if that is what she wants, not go off on a rant about her wonderful relationship with her ever so wonderful husband. It was a bit too much.

I agree that as a mother to both the girls involved Archana is stuck between a rock and a hard place but if she needed to berate Arjun, she needed to have kept it to the point. "How dare you get engaged to Ovi while you loved Purvi? How dare you lead Ovi on and expect Purvi to understand? How dare you humiliate Ovi, hurt her, drag Purvi's name in the mud when you claim you love her? How do I believe you?" Or "I don't believe you so get lost" (she did say this to give her her just dues). What irked me was her idyllic representation of her and Manav's relationship - untrue and uncalled for in this situation and her changing her tune as regards to Arjun's worth, his name and his money, when those were either seen as good qualities or not considered at all when he was the prospective groom for Ovi.

Arjun for being the son of a rich businessman is more gainfully employed than her 3 children - Teju has quit even her job of cab driver, Sachin sits at home all day, Ovi is a model but spends her time pining for her lost love now and chasing after him before. She herself has given up even the semblance of working. Arjun at least shows upto work everyday and has always been portrayed as being a workaholic, so how can she imply he is worthless?

I think the problem with Archana is She hates happiness and loves pain. simple. Also,does she realise that by challenging Arjun to prove his love to Purvi, she's also asking him to prove that he doesnt love Ovi and the way she wants this proof leaves me thinking that Arjun with all the wealth,fame and success as a Kirloskar son is strictly meant for Ovi hence the reason why she didnt see the need to ascertain Arjun's love for Ovi then. So now if he wants Purvi, he should drop that(fame,wealth,success) which belongs to Ovi and then become a middle class to get Purvi. that means love is a class affair. wow, Archana is really intresting. Arjun Kirloskar is for Ovi while Arjun is for Purvi. what a show!
