My Mom says this old saying (I don't even know if it's a saying) that "sabsa bara dil hota hai garibo main" ( I'm trying to translate it to Hindi from Bengali but don't know how that's working out). She also says that God loves the poor the most. I don't really agree with her though since there are people among the poor who did shameful and foolish things. If Archana does tell Arjun to stay in a chawl to prove his love for Purvi, than that is just bakwaas and it will be even more bakwaas if Purvi agrees to Archana's demand and makes Arjun prove his love for her.
