disagree with ppl saying actors doesnot matter ...
i only stopped watching PR when sushant left and hiten entered the show ...

why people blaming storyline/script for falling TRP of PR ... if that really the case , then why PR supposed to be in top position with trp of 5-6 + for almost 2.5 years and especially in shravni days when ppl were frustated with poor storyline ...

viewers always have complaint about bad story of PR from the beginning of the show except the initial 3 months ... then even then its trp never came below 3-4, it topped trp chart for 2.5 years with even 6+ trp and was never out of top 10 except once for only one week after divorce...

this proves actors do play a very important role in TRPs ...and ppl watch the show for their fav actors not only for just good story ... and when a certain actor plays a character for a long time , he makes a strong impact in viewers mind ... and hence ppl wont accept replacement any other actor in place of original ... KASAUTI , KYUKI (smriti irani replacement with ram kapoor wife gautami) are the best examples of this case

i strongly believes that sushant replacement and hiten entry as manav is the main and only reason for falling TRP of PR , not just its crappy story line ...
PR had much more crappy and worst storyline in shravni days as compared with its current story ... PR's current story is much more interesting than it had for most of the times ... but now it has comparatively much lower trp than previous ...

so things are obvious actors had major role to maintain trps

@bold underline, by this statement u indeed telling that ,...for you , its all about actors ...and actors do matter a lot for u...
... so how can u write in the next line , that its "all about stroyline not in the actor" ... when u yourself started watching a show a certain actor entered ...😆 so the presence of your fav actor do matter for you to watch a show ...

hiten may be popular actor for their fans , but for PR viewers , they are sushita fans , so the presence of their favorite actor (sushant) do matter for them a lot just like you ...

i think there has been enough discussion in the past related hiten stepping in shoes of sushant as manav ... but it is irrelevant now coz everybody has made there peace with it... be it ankita or the audience... everybody i guess seems to be settling with hiten so it is not worth discussing...

I agree . the story line in the Shravani days was just unbearable ...🤢

even now the worst part of this story is the way Shravani's son is dictating everyone's lives ...the creatives just don't learn their lesson...

@bold, i think majority of of viewers seems to have quit watching PR after sushant exit ... thats why TRPS are very low 2+ as compared to previous 5-6+ when sush was there ... and plz dont blame stoory line for this ...as it is much better now as compared to many times in almost 2.5 years (shravni days) ... for this refer to my previous post ...
and now minority of viewers whio are still watching PR , did nt ccept hiten as manav , so they are writing in this thread that sushant is the best manav for them any they will not accept his replacement ...

rashi i disagree with u that it is not woth discussing and all sttling with hiten.if all accepted hiten as manav then PR never face such TRP fall down.if media talk fan always discuss with it.sushant as manav was most popular and appealing to all ,nobody can deny.hiten is very good actor and best in dad role.but young,romantic manav only sushant.if anybody check OLD PR epi nobody will see hiten in place of sushant.sushant cant b erased from those epi.so how ppl forget sushant as manav?sushita as arman in PR golden days nobody can forget.even new generation actor RD say it again and again that sushant ankita chemistry made PR most popular.anki-hiten has no chemistry so flashback epi got less TRP.its not hiten's fault.but sushita chemistry was out of the world that most ppl cant imagine manav beyond sush,so they divert to DBAH.now DBAH took over PR place.PR used to get 5+TRP now DBAH getting.even during last KBC there were lots of arman[sushita]romantic epi so PR got 4.5+TRP.but now its dream for PR.ankita trying her best and doing excellent job.but to most audience archana manav meams sush anki.if sush broght for 1week again PR would get 4+TRP.

poppy im not saying that that people have forgotten sushant but im saying that it already been 7 months since the replacement ... everybody now have made peace with it... they have not forgotten sushant also but some where they have made adjustment with it... now it is not about chemistry coz they are no more young couple who will fall in love but they are parents... as parents there understanding is good... about trp every show losses its sheen ... bidaai lost it when pr came ... now dabh came so pr lost it sheen... trp's come and go ...

There is another important reason why current TRPs are low (for all shows not just PR). People get the shows online and they stream it to TV and watch whenever they want. It is really hard to calculate TRP for the online content.

i was just telling that actors do matter a lot when it comes to storyline or trps ...
viewers wants to see the same actor playing the certain character for which they are used to see for long time , or which made the certain actor bacame so popular or the character for which they are known for ...

i saw some post some ppl blaming storyfor low trps ... i disagree that ... the current story of pr is much more better and moving forward as compared to that time before and after first divorce ]where stroyline is comparitely much more crappy and stretched like a chewing gum , did not move forward in terms of story ...

atleast now the story is moving which made it less frustrated and it is much better than shrvni days , but that time trps were on sky unlike now when sush left ...

so i want ppl to accept the fact that sush exit had made trp ratings so low
