Trish dear ,as per your request I am making a separate thread on this topic for CV's to provide better characterization to the current set of actors especially Arvi.😊. I will try my best here and I am sorry in advance if I hurt anyone feelings here.😊
I am a old school - watching PR from day 1, Arman/Sushita/PR fan . I love the current set of actors (Arvi,Tej,Ovi) and they are doing a wonderful job and doing full justice to their roles with the horrible crap being ditched out to them by the CV's.Arvi have been the breathe of fresh air which has brought back few old and many new fans to PR but CV's don't realize the importance of the characterization of the characters and the audience emotions connected to it.
I think as many dears pointed out that the CV's are not utilizing the actors/characters properly.Arjun is current generation dude. One can understand that as per his character the emotional potent will not be displayed by him as he will want to keep his emotions to his heart (introvert to his feelings) as much as possible but I feel Arjun is not being provided that chance completely. He's been shown to be too much caught in circumstances that he is not able to express himself much. The circumstances is shown dominating his presence/emotions which is not allowing to strike that chord completely.
Arjun is a strong character and RD is a very good actor.CV's need to give him more powerful scenes like the Arvi confession ones.In fact all the current set of actors need a proper justice from the CV's.
Actors get better as they get involved with their character and CV's need to tap it out.
Sushant was a master in that and his emotional potent and the feelings portrayed by him was so amazing ,the pain, the suffering he had portrayed during the Shravani track - infact made viewers sympathized with Manav more than Archu - that was the secret of that horrible track still producing sky rocketing TRP's.The pain of not able to do anything ,to see ur love suffer in ur mother's hand, tortured and forced to see your love being emotionally n physically tortured by your own mother and Shravani was so visibly seen in Manav that it hit the viewers and no one could even think about hating Manav.
In fact Manav has shed tears more than Archu @ that time.I think CV's need to provide similar powerful sequences in this horrible track to tape out the best of the actors present. This also motivate the actors more as the poor actors would also feel so down when they have to enact such horrible sequences.
The initial CV's during the first half of PR are completely different from the current one. They knew the right way to strike chord with the audience.Every simple scene of Arman struck so much chord with the audience. The main theme of Arman was simplicity which really made them different from other couples and had a huge fan following.Scenes like the one posted below ,it was a very simple scene but the impact it struck was due that unique touch of love, innocence, romance that the CV's mixed into it which brought the best out of Sushita.
I believe these CV's need to come back or the current set of CV's need to look back and think/take some tips from their former colleagues on the thought process.
I believe that the current CV's don't have basically much idea of the entire story-line of the show hence we so much character inconsistencies.Actors changing does not mean the entire character changes. For eg they needed to give audience a different shade of Manav with the root of his originality still being there (that original Manav we all know) to strike the chord with the audience but instead they assassinated both Manav n Archu characters very badly making Manav a villan and Archu a unfortunate distraught woman who likes to take pain and be a disgrace.Anki/Hiten/RD/Asha are doing full justice to their roles but CV's are being totally unfair on these poor actors by ditching pathetic story lines .The only folks embarrassed by this are the poor actors who had to endure this torture by playing through these horrible story tracks.
Unless the CV's dont align their thought process to the USP of the show , I dont see the TRP's going up any time soon.

Here is a simple example of such a simple sweet scene which provided an opportunity for Sushita/Arman to excel and all we fans go crazy for them. Guess Arvi fans would love to see some nice sweet scenes like this :

The special aspect for this scene is that its just simple ,sweet and filled with fragrance of ove.

PS : Sorry if I had hurt anyone feelings here with my post. This was no way comparison of the actors just a request to CV's to do the required justice to their actors by at least giving them more chances to show their wonderful skills with such horrible tracks ditched on them. The least they can do for their actors who put in their heart and soul in this show.

I hope CV's end the horrible crap they are ditching and providing some nice sweet scenes for Arvi and the fans to rejoice their love story.

Thank you Jai!!!😊😊
Wonderful Post. 👏👏 Like you said, it is not at all a comparison, but a recall which is currently needed for the CVs to know where they might be going wrong. Trps have fallen a lot in the last three weeks, and the crux of PR is getting lost. Please go back to the golden days of Sushita and see the subtle magic they had created between themselves even when the track was that of separation. I remember I would eagerly watch the separation track to see how Sushita performed and I would cry along with them and empathised with both Archana and Manav. Now, I dread to see what they will make Arjun-Purvi do .. sometimes they make them behave totally against their original characters and I have to close my eyes to stop from watching them behave like people they are not.
Please show us such lovely touching and pure moments between Arjun-Purvi too. That is the beauty of Pavitra Rishta.

Awesome post Jai. 👏

The CVs have killed all the characters personalities. Archana, Manav, now Arjun and Purvi. But I am also hating their treatment of characters like Ovi and Vinay. The CVs haven't done anything to Tej's character, but that's just for now. Who knows, maybe they will assassinate her character as well because they don't spare anyone.
Vinay was a totally sweet and nice guy at the beginning. He was a good friend to Purvi and he genuinely liked her. But to get Arvi together, they made his character do a complete 360. What a pity. I liked Vinay as a confidante to Purvi, especially when she shared her problems with him and he took it in good stride. I wouldn't want anything romantic between them but I would have appreciated it if they were still good friends.
Now to Ovi. Ovi was a sweet, albeit a tiny bit superficial girl when they presented her. She was upbeat and nice. But then, to give a reason for Arjun to belong only to Purvi, they make her now seem possessive, blind in live, and childish. Ovi was nice to Archana after that Ma'am thing and she was nice to Sulo as well. She was okay with waiting for Purvi when they attended the lunch. She didn't come across as snooty or selfish there. I am a huge Arvi fan and I know that Arjun and Purvi belong together, but I don't like to see Ovi as the character she is now. She's Manav and Archana's daughter and she does have some of her parents' traits but she is not a negative person. I feel bad for Shruti because her character is not one most sympathize with and also because there are more twists to come in store for Arvi in which Ovi will most likely be a negative character because of Savita and thus earn the wrath of other Arvi fans.
But Jai you are absolutely right. All the actors are doing a brilliant job with the crap that they get from the CVs. I only hope that the CVs turn things around and make PR a little better like the golden days of PR.

P.S. When the Varsha-Soham track comes, I want to see a better change in Varsha. She was one of my faves in the old PR. I hope she mellowed out with age. I hated her as crazy Varsha but would love it if the old Varsha returned, the one who'd do anything to help her family.

jai ur post is very truth and to the point but problem is PR changed so much and its lost it beauty so how much u try and request PR cant b like before bc in one show one couple can b hit.may b i m rude but its truth ppl never accept another couple like hit couple in same show.so CV has to drag and show bogus story line.u can check other old show where only one lead couple hit.if CV try 1000times ppl willnt accept another jodi like such warm feelings bc they like to compare this jodi with popular jodi.and the story line almost same triangle archana-manav-shravani and arjun-purvi-ovi but they failed and audience r less interested to watch it.so its time to end PR with beautiful, logical story rather its dragged in such a manner that ppl forget PR was beautiful, innocent, and different show and it should end with good marks in ppl heart.
