Well lets see what happens guys...and hope and pray that there is a good reason for Arjun to have gone through with things...
I will say one thing...If ARVI track goes haywire and they end up married to other people...and there is any 18 year leap or anything crazy like that...I believe PR is going to lose a lot of viewers and TRPs will go way down...
Those of us who are hooked to this in the US are watching for the reason that it seems really realistic and more to TV types we can relate to...rather than the normal saas-bahu crap. PR will probably lose 2 audience bases...US and young people...Purvi and Arjun are young and fresh and so this track drew a lot of viewers that normally may not have watched the show (I watched off and on Archana/Manav from the beginning...I have to admit that I also stopped watching during the Jaywant/Shravani time) and re-started after they left the mandaps and married each other...
So hopefully Ekta keeps this in mind and doesnt wind up losing such a large viewing base

@archverma10 -- I have been seeing this kind of threats from lot of viewers.. I am also a fan from US and I love ARVI track and never saw Archana-manav track. It is a drama aimed at certain set of eyes. I have heard about ArMan history, and the TRP was 7+ at some point. You & I (not sure about you) were not viewers at that point and they did manage to do much better than now. Ekta has brought in ARVI to grab the interest of young viewers and trying to make some reality adjustment for current generation.
I had reacted like you at one point, but when I go back and see all the episodes after November.. the story has progressed real well and they have taken fans' requests into account and reduced lot of Archana's sad side. Please allow CVs to be creative and dont push them to do what you want to see.
Let us be patient and see. I am not able to visualize Arjun and Purvi with some other guy/gal either.

@vgiri...I really hope you are right dear. So far it hasnt gone over the top. Im trying to keep optimistic as well. This is the same forum where it was predicted that Purvi wouldnt get a chance to confess and Arjun would never know Purvi's true feelings for him. Thats obviously not the case Thank God...Arjun knows Purvi loves him 😊 and they both went to Mandir and Purvi tied for the blessings for their relationship...so we do have that.
I guess I just really feel there is something better about this show in terms of the level of acting and the use of subtletly as opposed to chessiness to convey things. I used to watch some of the other serials and some of the plot lines (Ram Milayee Jodi and YMGGK) have gone so over the top that they have become nothing short of bizarre to me.
I just dont want to see it go in the way of ridiculousness. I think there truly is something magical about Arjun-Purvi...main credit going to Asha and Rithvik for super acting...no denying there is an awesome chemistry there both onscreen and offscreen. See this is an amazing couple...for its realism making it one we havent seen on Indian TV in a while and one we can really relate to...so to mess it up with any character assassination or replacement of these two would really deprive the show of its most interesting track right now...
I know we need to sit back and watch and trust the CVs...but I just really hope and pray that it doesnt get to be so negative that it is difficult to stomach...then it will really be very tough to watch. I hope they continue the pattern of yes some drama but followed by positive, enjoyable episodes and strike a good balance here.

Archana, I am a viewer from the US too and I usually don't watch soaps, this is the second one I have watched and PR is the only one I currently watch and mainly for ARVI. These 2 characters have been portrayed realistically so far and though I am not sure if the CVs care for foreign viewers ( read somewhere that they don't count for TRPs), I hope the PR crew have more sense than to butcher this refreshingly honest portrayal of love. How many young couples these days resort to rona dhona and sacrifice?
I have heard of more last minute elopements than this "I need to give up my love for the sake of samaaj and family".
Still have hopes for ARVI, hope there is no letdown there.
