Rithvik - Wicked Expressions

Never thought such a day would come, but here it is... thanks to the man himself - Rithvik. At the expense of getting rotten tomatoes, eggs, belans, etc. thrown my way, I will say that I have really quite caught the fervour over PR... until ArVi came along, of course. The very first time I actually started watching the show was the day the ArVi mandir scene aired with "Dil Kyun..." I happened to be in the room when my mum was watching, and I was forced to pause - instantaneously magnetized. The tune is so enchanting, and it suits the duo to a level of perfection.

Khair, you all know that bit though, so skipping those ramblings of ArVi madness. Coming to the point of the post - Rithvic is oh so natural, and can I say cuteness personified? Someone mentioned something regarding Arjun's almost childish tone towards his love for Purvi. This image in contrast with the suave, disciplined Arjun Kirloskar the business dude just goes to show the guy's layered talent.

While today's scene was undoubtfully magical and Asha was also brilliant, I'm gonna say that for me, Rithvic passed the race by a little more. Wicked, wicked expressions. Particularly right after he hears her say what his ears were screaming to hear - I could sense the exhale in his entire frame. The way he lets out the air clogging his lungs, and the uncertain bubbles of happiness coming through the cracks of his smile... hai rabba! His expressions were pure Arjun-in-love. No trace of Rithvic or the business dude - pure, and unearthed... "Arjun" (Purvi). I know that television is slightly dramatic *cough* (ahem), but what girl wouldn't want a man in her life like that? He radiates with affection - the way he slowly reaches out to her, his fingers not sure if reality could be so kind. And, that delicate, unbelieving way in which he cradles her to him... allowing his lips and embrace tell him that he has stepped over the realm of dreams into a reality he had never even imagined... Okay, gonna stop...😳😆

I will say this however - whatever happens in the future of this track (uncertainty), the way these ArVi scenes have been shot are lasting. The execution and acting skills are fabulous. Yeah, they are hard-core filmy, but hey, that's to be expected. Hopefully the positivity will remain intact.😉

I have been a silent fan for a while now I guess, but felt pushed to post today... Sorry for my bak-bak. I'm known for rambling, but I will bore you no more. Have an awesome weekend, and lets hope for more such scenes!

Cheers,
dc

Beautiful stuff, and straight from the heart. What you wanted to say, especially about Arjun's body language, comes through very clearly. It is young love shown as it is rarely done - fumbling, hesitant, and then, when certainty dawns, gently and oh so tenderly ecstatic.

You have got it spot on: "his fingers not sure if reality could be so kind. And, that delicate, unbelieving way in which he cradles her to him... allowing his lips and embrace tell him that he has stepped over the realm of dreams into a reality he had never even imagined..." A lovely post. Keep it up.

Loved your bak bak, please share more of your ramblings. Would have missed a wonderful piece of writing had it not been for Shyamala's mention of it in her recent post.

amazing post and welcome to the forum.

coming to the topic,

taking the fact that I am one of his many die-hard fan away...u have seriously nailed each and every thing I felt watching him in that scene.

oh my god it was something else and knowing what Ekta and her Team can't do I actually wish that was the end of their story right there.

why because even though I will love to watch them forever I will pick knowing that they had an happy ending than watching them heart broken after that wonderful sight of them at the airport.

Purvi was by all means fantastic as well but RD Excellent and super Marvelous no doubt abt it.

So beautifully and eloquently described by both of you👏👏...I'm generally a silent reader too and don't really have much to say in this forum but had to post today after reading this :-)

Who knows where these two will go from here given that this Kekta-land...lol...but yes I have to say the execution of their story has pulled me in as well...there is something quite endearing and cute about them...and well enacted by the actors...especially Arjun.

Hi Shyamala,

Thank you, I'm glad I was able to convey myself, and that too clearly - that's interesting!😆 You have also wrapped it all up in a very craftful manner. Young love is like a collision of unsaid emotions that are difficult to express and understand. When the net is torn, who knows how they will come flying out.

Thanks for commenting!

PS - yes, I did mean, "had not/have never...until now"😳 My bad!

Hi!

As I said, I was compelled to dig out of my hiding spot all thanks to Mr. RD. Magnetic acting - I could watch the scene over and over, and not loose appreciation... Oh, they've struck a chord alright... okay, perhaps a few😉

Haha, thanks for your sweet tolerance😆

Cheers,
