uhh... my script

Hey All.

After watching the sbs segment, I have lost my head again. And I imagined a new scinario. I am niether good at analyzing situations not at wroiting but I just dont know why Arjun compells me imagine things. So here is an os. (please dont mind it)

It is rainging heavily in Mumbai and a high voltage conference between Arjun and Purvi is on. Purvi is screaming at Arjun, acusing him, repeating all what she has already said to him. But this time the gentleman Arjun loses his temper. As Purvi continues, Arjun puts his finger on her lips.

Arjun-sshhh!!!

Purvi is staring at Arjun, shocked and confused, anger in her eyes.

Arjun- Bus! bohat bol chuki tum aur bohat sun chuka main. Ab jo kehne hai main kahunga aur tum suno gi. Purvi. you missunderstood me. aur fir ek chance bhi nahi dya mujhe khud ko defend karney.

Purvi tries to speak but Arjun's volume increases.

Arjun- maine jo kya wo ghalat tha. main maanta hun. mujhe aisa nahi karna chahye tha. lekin.. lekin main kya karta Purvi. wo mms... that bloody mms... main tumhari aankhon mein aansu nahi dekh paya. tum ro rahi thi lekin dard mujhe ho raha tha. anjaney mein main kya kar betha mujhe khud andaza nahi hai. Purvi, im sorry. main jaanta hun main ghalat tha. I am sorry. tumharey aansu nahi dekh saka main.

Purvi is staring at Arjun as he moves a step towards her and cups her face with his hands.

Arjun-Purvi, us din tumharey jaaney ke baad.. mujhe laga jaise jaisey main... Purvi us raat mujhe ehsas hua ke tum mere liye kya ho, Purvi tumne mujhe zindagi jeena sikhaya. Tumne mujhe rishton ka matlab samjhaya. U changed me. U made me a good human being. Purvi tum.. tum mera sab kuch ho. Purvi i realized that.. that I LOVE YOU!

Purvi is astounded and cannot believe what she just heard! She puches Arjun away and looks at him with fury and shock in her eyes. But Arjun is love drunk. He moves forward and holds her by her arms and says

I LOVE you. Tum meri zindagi ho. Aur apni aakhri saans tak main tumhara itizar karunga.

Arjun leaves. Purvi fells down on her knees and starts crying. Arjun has walked miles away...

Later at night. Purvi is standing in front of the mirror, combing her hain. She racalls all the moments, a quick flashback; Arjun's arrival, their first fight, Arjun's new offer, office rejoining, small fights, the temple, the resignation, the party(mouth organ and sign guesses), office rejoin, kangan, engagement, Arjun offering money to Vinay, Arjun finding her on the bench, the elevator, the dhaba, and then the kiss. She throws the comb and looks down. then looks up and whispers to herself "ARJUN" but then she goes to the bed.

Arjun is standing by his room window, his mom's photograph in his arms and next to his heart. He is staring at the sky adorned with twinkling stars.

Arjun- mom! maine pyaar ko sweekar kar lya. aaj maine sab keh dya mom. par... par kya mera pyaar mujhe swekar karey ga!

Purvi is restless. she cannot sleep. she gets up and goes to the window and looks at the sky. Arjun's words echo in her ears... " I love you Purvi. tum meri zindagi ho."

a flashback

arjun-purvi dance at the party. and then the temple, how she prayed to god shiv for a husband who was like him and only hers. and then how arjun saved her from the snake, how he consoled her after her engagement broke, he wiped off her tears, he held her when was about to fall on the road and then how he defended her at the office. and then the kis. again she hears Arjun's voice " I love you". A tear rolls out of her eye. her lips twist in a repressed smile and she goes to bed.

Arjun is still staring at the stars when a gus tof wind blows and he closes his eyes. "Purvi", he whispered.

The next morning...

Arjun at the office, Purvi at home.. just doing thier work and time passes by. The sun sets and its evening. Arjun has completed his work, throws his pen on the table, lays his head on the chair's back and closes his eyes. suddenly he gets up and leaves the empty buildin.

Next He is standidng in the old shiv temple, a girl's back faces him. he walks to her and whispers in her ear "Purvi"

she turns back and looks at him.

Arjun's eyes are filled with love and tonight, Purvi's eyes reflect the same.

Purvi- im sorry arjun

arjun tries to speak when she interupts.

Purvi- arjun im sorry. maine najaney kyun ye socha bhi ke aap kuch ghalat kar saktey hain. ap jaisa insan... im sorry.

Arjun is looking at her with all the love.

Purvi- arjun mujh se ghalti hogai. kal maine jana ke ap mere liye kya hain. Arjun, ap meri zindagi ka ek bohat important hissa hain. ap ke bina.. ap ke bina main kuch nahi.
Arjun kept silent.
Purvi- I LOVE YOU ARJUN!
I Love you too!
Main bhi ap ke bina nahi reh sakti. Ap...
Arjun steps forward towards her and gently hold her hand and plants a kiss on it.
Arjun- main sirf tumhara hun Purvi. Aaj bhi aur kal bhi. Tumharey bina adhoora hun main.
A gentle brezze begins to blow. And a soft piano music begins to play.
Arjun- I LOVE YOU PURVI!
His voice echoes in the silent temple.
The magic of love spread.

Sitaron ne jaise sifarish ki
chand jaise sharma gya
aakash ne jaise haan keh di
waqt jaise tham sa gya

Arjun's voice struck the hollow walls and reflected back. as purvi whispered " I love you too.
Arjun's one arm moves to Purvi's waist as she holds on to it. With the other, he gently rubs her hair aside. Purvi's eyes close as Arjun's eyelids go down and his lips find Purvi's cheak. Purvi's (other) hand moves to Arjun's chest and grips his collar.
A song begins to play as love fills the air.
Arjun's lips move back a bit and the same moemnt,his move melts in his arms and he hugs back Purvi.
The song continues to play.

From someone who says he/she is not good at this sort of thing, it is a remarkably good effort. it is simple and logical and it reads very well. In fact it is quite lyrical at times.

Your scenario might very well turn out to be pretty close to what we are actually shown during the rest of this week. I liked the return to the Shiv Mandir idea; life would have been much simpler for poor Arjun if he could have conjured up another handy snake!

thanks alot for your appreciation. I.. I dont wirite, im not at all into these things but i have just discovered this side of myself perhaps and wanted to express or may be i dont know. i just wrote it. Arjun just compells me to imagine things, the next track, possible scinario. that character is very much close to my heart. 😊

and the shiv temple, well it is pavitra rishta. and moreover i believe that God brought my parents together as if they were meant to be together, wasnt a love marige but still. so i took it back to the temple to potray that its a pavitra rishta. 😊
