At first ppl started watching PR for its simple story line as ppl loved simple lovestory of a middle class couple. but later ppl watched it for Sushita. they were many pathetic tracks like Shravani track, divorce track etc but still PR was on no1. last year during the time of world cup all other serials TRP went down. at that time only PR was in top3. at that they were showing the track of Dharmesh and his past. but still Pr was in top 3. no one interested in watching dharmesh. because of sushita Pr was in top 3 that time.
PR was no1 after its 4 year leap. at that time also there was nothing in the story but still PR was in top.
regarding Kyunki it was woman oriented show where Tulsi was the central character. male lead had no importance in kyunki. ppl wanted mihir back because they did not want to see Tulsi as a widow. But time has changed. In PR Manav was equally important as Archana. Manav's character was totally different from male lead of other show. Manav was not a suited booted balaji hero. ppl loved the shy mechanic who fell in love with Archana at first sight. same goes for Archana also. Archana was not like other balaji leads who wears heavy sarees and jewellerys all the time.
but now manav has become same as other balaji businessman lead.

i haven't watched any show before but just saying from what i had read in articles
pr was ekta's second Marathi background serial ... first was kkusum but it was also partially bcoz only female lead was Marathi & male lead was Punjabi business tycoon
r was fully Marathi show
the recent archana is just uselss ... in fact she is the most controversial female lead ... usually fans of any show love their leads a lot ... but there r so many fans like me & my like minded who inspite of being big PR fans just cant stand the female lead ... i don think this must be happening in any other forum
so if u wanna say that recent archana is not like other female leads then i agree 100 % ⭐️
but if u say old archana was not like other female leads ... then i just wont agree ... i agree that before SN pooja she was very sweet & adorable but still there was no originality in her
so many shows have middle class female leads ... in past & even now ... 4-5 middle class sisiters with 1 of them being the lead was shown in N number of shows & even today like preeto , shubh vivah etc etc
so there was nothing great about old archana
what was original in pr was MANAV ... the male lead was completely fresh concept ... all characters have contributed ... but it was only manav who first clicked the audiences
