Hi everyone. I guess this topic might be controversial, but what the hay? Other popular shows such as Bade Acche Lagte Hai has tried it, so who else thinks we should have a liplock scene with ArVi? 😉

They get caught up in the moment and BAM! Awkwardness post kiss, extra hot sizzling chemistry, and then they run away from all the other crazy people in their lives and get married and live happily ever after with their 2 kids, Arjun Jr. and Purvi Jr. =P

I don't understand why its so taboo, teenagers in India kiss their boyfriends/girlfriends for crying out loud, so why is it such a big deal to show it on TV?

Enlighten me please =)

i wont disagree entirely but perhaps india is dominated by rural background aka society . the villages, towns etc.
for us, its not a big deal but for them, it sure is i suppose.

though shows like PR are for sure controversial for promoting polygamy a number of times and ridiculing female inspite of female oriented shows,

I don't understand the big deal about kissing on Indian television either but I guess its just that most Indians are socially quite conservative so they may not like liplocks shown on screen but I'd personally love seeing an ArVi kiss 😉

I couldn't agree more about the polygamy bit, or the female ridicule bit. A lot of women in India are independent and well-spoken, but shows like PR are constantly showing everyone a woman's place according to them, aka at a man's feet. Pathetic.

I find those themes and tracks more controversial than a simple kiss.

I agree that there are so many other ways of showing love, but what is everyone's (CVs, select members of the audience) problem with a kiss? It's romantic, sweet, and just adds to the level of admiration and love the characters have for each other and we have for them. The creatives love to show us unrealistic tracks, like the Savita's truth STILL not being out, and yet very real expressions of love are considered taboo.

Also, tracks such as Vandita marrying her rapist, and Vaishali going back to her husband who tried to kill her. Or Archana being so "mahaan" that she fails to see anything past her so called son's demands. It seems like the creatives love dragging and introducing unrealistic torture tracks, but have problems with simple loving scenes. The audience also doesn't mind tracks like that. Case in point, there is no public uproar when things like Vandita's story happen, yet the simple kiss scene in another show has a massive public outcry.

Just my personal opinion. 😊

Wouldn't that just be so adorable? I'd like download it and put it on my phone and my iPad.

Imagine this:
Purvi and Arjun are laughing, having a great time. Purvi stops laughing when she realizes how close they are standing to each other, almost touching. She notices Arjun's eyes softening as he smiles at her. Arjun's hands move up to Purvi's face. They lean in slowly and Arjun stops centimeters from Purvi's lips and waits for her to make a move, giving her the power to move forwards and capture his lips, or back away. Purvi of course realizes what he is doing, and makes her move. She takes his offering, and they share a beautiful, chaste, sweet kiss. Then they pull away and Purvi blushes while Arjun smiles and strokes her face.

(sorry, I just had to throw that scene in there)😳

I don't like the idea of kissing on INdian television. Call me old fashioned, but there are other ways of showing a romantic scene that's less embarrassing for the actors to act out.

PR is showing bigomy but Feminism to the max..
Men are to be at women's feet...Especially Manav, Satish, Mano baba all of them under their women's thumbs..No respect..Only men have stood up is Dharmesh and Ajit to some extent...Or else all other men are weaklings in front of their women..
BTW after such a success with DP EK's head is swallon so she will show anything for TRP...She showed kissing and full on SR between the leads in BALH, EMA on KHTV ...So kissig between the two young ones will not be a big deal to her and her CVs..
