Hope you don't mind if I interject...but I didn't find anything wrong in Manav calling his mother to recall the memories he shared with Savita. They together have lived their life in that house...its also the place where his and his mother's relationship grew too.

However I understand when you mean the umbilical chord still being attached...too much dependence has become a negative trait for Manav. He was a good son before...now he is a pet son.

Bonne of course i dont' mind...I am happy to hear your comments... i didn't really object that he called her to recall the memories and reminisce ...it would be natural to do that and odd if he didn't.. but at that point in the show, it was showing ONLY that...ONLY his memories with his mother and only Sachu with Savita... later of course they balanced it with Manav at least and if i had waited 😳 i wouldn't have written so angry. 😆 Since Manav coming to an emotional crossroads with Archu it would have been more realistic to show a mixture of ALL memories for both Manv & Sachu right up front. imo.

beyond that tho, he IS ..haha i like your description "a pet son" first Damu the dog, now manav the puppy. 😆 😆
