So Kool breeze (of course a gale force if the depression 'A' is the instigation!😆😆) is heading the Bombadil bay! As so many have done it already, let me join the welcome party.
The eateries and visitories you mentioned are obviously nostalgic and hence of special value to you. A few suggestions; check out on evergreen Swati-Tardeo (our tribe's mandatory joint) or 'Koyla 'at Colaba. Efficient 'Annapurna' at Dadar had afforded us friends some nice Maharashtrian dishes in the evening- followed by a stroll along pleasant Carter road, Bandra (refurbished and one of the rare one- suggestible) and an after splurge of late evening chocolate desserts at 'Mocha' Hill road,( nice concoctions and fattening portions- if the test buds prefer cocoa), besides some good Panini sandwiches and a careless youngish ambience. Cafe Madras and Health Juice centre at Matunga is another indispensible combination. 'Crossword' at Camp's Corner or 'Oxford' at Church gate offers some amazing snacks in the afternoon company to the books.
but Kool I hope you don't find our beloved city in too much a dilapidated state- an inescapable trauma for those visiting after a long hiatus, especially for one returning from the western worlds-'infrastructure shock'…like a pilgrim, with his/her surging heart and songs of ascents in mind, finding the lost 'Jerusalem' at the turn of final hill! For our beloved city is exploited, soiled and raped by every colour and creed of the politician, turning her wretched and wretcheder with their insatiable greed…a caution, maybe unnecessary for your hardened mind and emotional reunions awaiting you. Welcome home.😊
