TRPs to decide PRs leap?

The show that showcases the sacred bond between Archana and Manav started off on a good note with viewers giving an immediate response to it. The show for months topped the TRP chart but the overall decline in Zee TV has led to a slip in the ratings of the show too. Zee TV which was slotted in number three position among the GECs has been toppled by Sony Entertainment Television, after the grand opening of Kaun Banega Crorepati. This has resulted in a panic situation in the channel as the officials are trying all desperate measures to turn the fortune. Their top rated show Pavitra Rishta registered a TRP of 4.1.Channel has its hoped pinned on the show and makers are trying to deliver as per their expectations. It is to be noted that Pavitra Rishta is pitted against KBC which has topped the rating charts. If sources are to be believed, if the current track doesn't get them good ratings (with KBC's monopoly in the market), they might introduce a leap in the show. If it happens this will be leap number two on the show.

Informs our source from the show, "KBC has received an overwhelming response from the viewers and is the number one show. This is a serious threat to all the shows that air during the same time as KBC. If the situation persists and KBC keeps rocking the TRP chart, we will have to resort to various measures to keep the viewers engrossed. The track currently focuses on Manav and Jaywant. The two guys are at loggerheads. Apparently, in the nearing future, Manav will advise Archana against marrying Jaywant for he is not a nice guy for her. We are hoping for the track to work but if it doesn't and TRPs don't shoot up, we will introduce a leap. This is very tentative and only in the planning. If the leap takes place it will be after a month and a half."

Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav feigned ignorance over the matter and said, "I am not aware of it."

We wonder if its KBC or TRP that will decide the leap? Only time will tell.
