I'm not sure how of you all feel, but I think Jaywants aai went a little to far in Manav hate today.
I agree with the fact taht they are looking out for Jaywant and want to make sure that Archana is going to be completley committed to her relationship with Jaywant and his familly. I agree that she should do that and the wedding shouldn't happen until she is for sure committed to Jaywant. However, what I failed to understand is why they are behaving without any compassion towards Manav & his family. Today Jaywants parents thought it was wrong that the Karanjkar family was at Manav's place providing support to his family. I mean the divorce was the friendliest divorce in history of mankind, they know what the reason was behind it and they accepted archana. What bugs me the most is that the Karanjkar family isn't just at Manav's house to drink tea, eat sheera and have a friendly chat. They are providing support because Manav went tojail on false charges. They (Jaywants parents)haven't even spoken to Jaywant aboutwhat exactly is going on tojump to any conclusion.Manav's life hangs on the balance. Is the Rane family devoid of all humanity?

I agree with you, what I saw today completely changed my opinion about Jaywant and his parents. I know they want Archana to break all ties with Manav, but how do they expect her to do so in a time like this? Archana is still the supervisor of the company Manav works at, he has been arrested on serious charges of course she is going to put up a fight. Instead of jumping to conclusions, perhaps they should show compassion and find a way to help. They seem to be just as selfish as Dharmesh is.

Completely agree. In fact it was quite disgusting to watch how Jaywant's mother was behaving. On the grounds of compassion atleast she can have desisted. And if Jaywant is wrong and Manav is right, and Archana says it, I don't think that that should be construed as her being wrong (going against her 'pati' Jaywant for a 'gair mard' Manav is what his mother said, which was also disgusting - we all know who is the 'pati' is and who the 'gair mard' is). Anyway so far as this stops Archana from marrying Jaywant I guess it's ok with us!

I think that's why Dharmesh and Jaywant share a very good relationship! 😆

And, if they have such a big problem with Archana's behaviour, they should just cancel the rishta!

I want to put a question out there.....would Archana have reacacted this way if it wasn't Manav and some other worker???
Clearly Archana is overly emotional and is not thinking at a professional level, but as Manav's wife.
So it is understandable for Jawyant and his family to be upset. I would. In fact, the more Archana reacts this way, the more Jawyant is going to become more negative and try ways to destroy Manav.

i put the same comments in tanya's SOTD.

i am not sure abt jayawant.. but i dnt want to be so harsh on jay's mom cos i feel she didnt get much chance to see the full story.. i mean remember all the time she has met archu.. manav has been a big part of it..
only from the ganesh utsav archu started to ignore manav.. and that too during aarti she was looking at him.. and then immediately this happened.. she didnt get any solid proof of archu's total commitment to her and jay's rishta..and tell me why will she worry about manav.. she doesnt even know if he is totally innocent.. only plp who know manav will know he cann't do anything like this..
i agree she could have waited for a few days to bring up this and also probably spoke to jay first...
but seeing jay i don't think he will give his mom the true picture...
so considering all this i don't think she is wrong ..only she could have waited...
