Do u know the biggest joke ?Archna has been given elbow length blouse on ALL saris[ I dont see the logic in giving such a young gal this nun kind of attire on ALL sarees] and a low cut blouse from behind[ half her back is seen like Urmi] ...........so i dont see the logic of covering body at all !
I agree! I don't even understand the point in giving a person just one type of clothing to wear. It makes sense for someone like Manav to wear jeans with various shirts and then t-shirts at home, but it's incredulous that Archana gets restricted to ONE type of sari at a time. Most women have a variety of styles in clothing they wear, but here Archana gets to wear a very mature looking 3/4 length sleeve blouse with boring muted color combinations. I would have liked to see her in churidaar suits or salwar kameez, even kurtis with skirts would look good and are a common combination for a 20-something and "expose" less than those backless blouses. If they had to stick with saris they could've kept her old ones, they looked fine and most people do not drastically change their wardrobe in one year anyway. If they wanted a new style of sari for her, they could've gone with some of those printed cottons in smart color combos that suit almost anyone and depending upon the styling can look elegant, professional, or casual. [Edit: I think it would have more fun to see her strut around in fabulous chiffons with sexy fitted blouses, but it's doubtful they would ever show that.] There were so many possibilities and of all things they go for the most mature and restricted look possible. They could have at least gotten the clothing right, if nothing else, gosh.
