Varsha, I totally agree that the parents should not sell their property and move in with Vinod. They should make sure that the title on their current house is on Solo and Manohar's name and that they have a will to include all her children in it equally.

She was made to give up her studies and treated like a maid in her own house by her younger sisters . Tanya Archo was not made to give up her studies, Archo dropped from school to help raise her siblings as Solochana was too sick to take care of the little ones. No one treated her like a maid. Archu was always there for her family.

Nevertheless , what good did she do when she advised sisters foolioshly to sell their share [ jewels] and give brother the money for second flat ?

Ek kamre mein baith kar yeh dono baat kar saakte hain. However, b/c this is an Indian drama-masala is always needed ji. Manav can pick up the phone or directly go meet her; tell her the situation. From there Archna can go meet Damodar and talk things over. If she clearly lets him know that this marriage will do nothing for her growth in life, he will not ask for a remarriage.

I find this silly b/c I think if they can just sit and talk; solutions will be found. We don't need chants in the background, winds blowing at 120km/hr, or lightening in the sky to say no I won't marry him again. Just sit down and talk it through. Yeah I know it's the most difficult thing to do in Indian dramas, but surprisingly, talking things through does get us somewhere ji.

If Archna is determined to obtain an education and become her own support and be capable of supporting others, then she should talk to Damodar. If you want masala then get Archna to talk to Damodar. They talk for hours, but no one else knows about this. Then on the D-day after Shravni walks out, and Savita tells Manav to take this sindoor etc etc-Archna should come there. Just as Manav is about to put sindoor in her maang, she should hold his hand and say no. After the shocked faces of everyone is shown 2-3 times, Damodar should come and say he is with Archna. Even I would watch the episode if this happens lol.

So yeah in short, Archna should go talk to Damodar and make him understand that remarriage is not her calling in life; education is.
