You know Ali, yesterday I didn't post any comments or defend Manav in the Daily Discussion Thread bcoz everyone was extremely angry. Everyone was extremely frustrated and for this they were doing anything they could- cursing Manav, saying he deserves worst punishment, etc etc. I kept out and did not read that thread again.
Why?
Bcos I understand that their reaction was so becos they all love Archana. Archana cried so Manav got cursed. At that time no one would maybe have listened to the fact that:
- that Manav is not divorcing Archna for his own happiness.
- that Manav didn't come to hug Shravani. He came for medicines and was leaving immediately.
- He looked repulsed and recoiled at her touch.
- He could not push Shravani away. She is in her seventh month- has already fallen once- has complications in pregnancy. I have handled pregnant women myself and I feel so scared - I handle them like glassware. So why would Manav push her away, and risk hurting her? And if you guys still persist- he did lift his hand to push her back but controlled himself. Made sense in my opinion.
- Was there any use infuriating Shravani? By now Manav knows that Shravani is immature and keeps shouting. The best way to handle her is to let her be.
- Manav wasn't happy when Shravani hugged him. I don't know how people cannot see his pathetic condition. I feel sorry thinking about this- two women fling themselves at him whenever they want, and his wishes don't matter at all.
- Above all, Manav didn't know Archu would be watching him. He didn't hurt her purposefully. In fact, all he did in all this was stand.
- For those who say Manav wants to marry Shravani and is just attracted to Archana cos she is sexy- PUHLEEESE!!! We have been watching the serial from the first episode and know Manav is not like that.
- For those who feel Manav is a bigger criminal than Ajit, please go and kill him. Send him to heaven today itself. No sorry, send him to hell. People like Manav go to hell not heaven.
- In perpective, what would have happened if Manav had pushed Shravani back??? A lot of people would have said- what does he mean by waiting till marriage? Didn't he put sindoor and all on her? What is the meaning of pushing her in such a way??? Such a disgusting way of treating a woman whom he is about to marry!!! What a chauvinistic peacock- telling Shravani that he is only compromising on this marriage and marrying for baby sake. Hurting her also and Archana also! Why doesn't he take a side????
And this why doesn't he take a side was said in yesterday's episode also.
the bottomline is- either action Manav takes, he will be cursed by everyone. That is why I always say that they have spoilt the story.
Sometimes I think about what koolsadhu said that things have gone too far now, and only bappa's chamatkar can sort out this mess. I use to think, that no, there must be solutions. After witnessing opinions on this forum I think it is true- there is nothing Manav can do now. either way he gets stoned.
Archana should leave that house as soon as possible. I have said hundreds of times that Manav is a weak husband- and very incapable. That Archana deserves better, that she is being wronged. But my point is that Manav is anyway going to have a horrible life just because he thought of others. Can he ask his Mom that please give up on Sachin's baby cos I don't want divorce??? NOOOO!!!! Everything is over now from his side. He will die everyday little by little, when all he tried to do were make things easier for others- give his family back the son they lost. For this he is dying. He knows that he is unfair to Archana and for this he hates himself 1000000 times more. He is dead already. How much more do you people want him to suffer????
But I don't understand the uproar about the hug scene, this is just my opinion.
PS: My intention here is not to hurt anyone, I'm just trying to be honest.
