She is being dumped as SHe Is NOT PREGNANT . This hurts my feelings as a woman .

But since hundreds of my friends on this forum want this couple together...so be it .

Kools i agree with u ....and even though i dont wish divorce to happen, I maintain if it stays cause someone other than manav says no to divorce, it wont mean much for me....

archana being humiliated hurt me badly too but as a solid fan of her..i had to support her when she decided to go back there to atone for manju's wrongs...no matter the abuse as she said..i personally didnt like it but....she lived with it..me too...i was pained...

Hope .

🤗My support is purely for all those fans out there who are making this show RUN . Their sentiments shud NOT be dismissed off this cruelly , they shud NOT be taken for granted is my firm opinion .It is these fans that give these creatives their bread and butter .In saat phere they killed Nahar and reduced Saloni to an ayah looking after rich kids [ from a talented singer] . They shud DARE NOT try this with PR again as this will come across as CREATIVE ARROGANCE .

So sit up and take cognizance of those guys out there screaming to STOP divorce .All the reasons listed are valid .........especially the Sacred promise being greater than a man's word given later one . Manav made a promise to God .Then he made a promise to Shravni .If the question of upholding one of these two promises comes ......the promise made to GOd shud be respected more . That very God will take care of Shravni then .

Sadly creatives have taken this story to such a level that

if divorce stops due to Savita , meaning of story is still lost

If Manav stops divorce , he sort of loses respect for leading a pregnant woman on

If Archu stops divorce , her larger than life image is cracked

So u see the creatives ruined it all .

But the saddest part is the intense humiliation of Archana in this show . She did so much .........but her mountain of good deeds is just not enough to stop the divorce is the message .

If a woman walks out on a marraige , if she returns willing to work on it , no amount of Atoning for her mistake is good enough is the message

A woman desrves no self respect , self esteem once she marries is the message

Marraige is the END of LIFE is the message [ one that makes me bristle the most ]

So I wanted Archu to walk away and start afresh and I wanted the Deshmukhs to live a life saddled with the baby and Shravni , fast changing colors and worsening .

But since u romantic guys want ARMAN together ........ok .My support to u guys .

I agree, I really dont know how they could salvage this story....i mean they have really destroyed it so nothing would seem right if they stop it...

I was telling my sister about the divorce track (she knows I watch PR) and she replied, but Indians do not divorce...she was shocked and serious...i was like wowwwwwwww....this is so true, it hardly seems to ever happen..(I hope i did not offend anyone..not my intention) but she was simply saying her thoughts ..what she honestly knows about Indian culture..therefore, how can they show something that does not exist in Indian society.

Ur post about taking that vow in front of God was so deep...that really hit me hard......never even thought about it...i was just thinking about marriage...forgetting that some marriages (referencing western culture now, can be done at a town hall)

also inserting words like when sul aai said, i will sincerely pray to bappa...this aint no joke....ekta kapoor has to be crazy person...

But one thing i hope that they dont degrade her further by having her be the one to stop divorce or hanging around after marriage.....anyways, that would be the end for me...no doubt..

Kools I completely understand what you mean to say.

Personally I have no interest in how the show runs now, cos for me the show was over long back after they reduced Manav to a weakling and an incapable husband.

The reason I'm supporting this petetion is so that the future story can at least be salvaged, even if the past story is utterly horrifying and chauvinistic in approach. Till now they have never shown a pavitra rishta- not at all. I hope they can show one in the future after this whole shravani track ends and then as a creative person myself and an old admirer of the initial concept of the serial, I'll be a bit happy.

The bottom line for me is:

I don't want Shravani to marry Manav and suffer.

I don't want Manav to marry Shravani and suffer.

I don't want Archana to suffer at all.

Here my concern is for the characters the way they were introduced- not their actions after the storyline dwindled. Here I look upon Archana and Manav as selfless people who never had the chance to be happy in life and Shravani as a nice girl who should be happy. Thats it.

I want the creatives to show a bit of maturity in the serial by uniting Manav and Archana in an ethical yet romantic manner. If they make manav stop the divorce (which I'm sure will never happen) I'll give a party to all of you.

u and I are on the same wavelength regarding this one .I completely understand what you are saying . Personally , like you , I am indifferent to the divorce as even if it stops ............some aspect of PR is gonna be ruined .Hence my post on Girish and the 3 questions i put there asking u guys to think deeply .

My indiffrence and anger to the divorce stems from the treatment of woman in PR . NO amount of atoning is good enough if a woman returns and is willing to work on her marraige is the message .....she loses her husband forever , so women out there beware and DONT DARE walk out on marraiges is the message . Well it is SICK .

Be like Vandu is the message . Did she walk out like Archu ?No . She studied Archus fate and decided to stick in the marraige even at the cost of bearing atrocities is the message .We see her telling Archu That i learned from u . Again , a SICK message .

Become PREGNANT and go scot free is the message . Manju and Shravni go scot free and Archna suffers for being modest , cultured and for keeping her virginity intact as a sacred gift to her husband . NOW THIS IS THE LIMIT of all MESSAGES .

So I was so angry , so angry that I did not mind the divorce .Ok , If BABY over WIFE is the story , Sit with the baby and be unhappy .Then salvage the story by showing the wife develops MORE THAN SHRAVANI . I wud clap .

But I understand the romantic sentiments of the viewers only too well .My personal views are not necessarily popular views .Majority HAS to be respected . They viewed it as a love story between ARMAAN and invested hours in watching it and making the creatives RICH . They shud NOT be taken for a RIDE .

Yesterday when I made my post on the website as well as sent email I emphasized on same abt archana-woman's humilliation the way she has been treated...Marriage vows has less meaning over supporting pre marriage impregnanted woman & unborn baby...And bappa's name being thrown in the same sentece with sacred word of Marriage and disgusting word Divorce and marrying brother's ex fiance who is pregnant...How can a married man put sindoor and mangalsutra on another woman while his wife is still there with him putting all her efforts heart and soul into the relationship?? Not to make mockery out of god and sacred vows...I am in support of divorce at this point for archana to free herself and be independent...But am looking at a bigger picture of supporting god, sacred vows and undying support of a woman as a wife, DIL and a daughter...

You all I have grown to like, love and admire...So I am here...I am no faminist but will stand against an abuse to a woman be it physical or emotional...Woman's self resepect and selfesteem is much more important to MOI than being given the title of Best wife, dil or daughter while being a doormat...

I dont want PR to be in same boat as CB...In the name of god lies, cheat, hummiliation and abuse...I am not up for it..
